Synopsis

When the Weavers move to a gated community in New Jersey, they discover that the entire neighborhood is comprised of aliens from the planet Zabvron. But as the Weavers and the aliens face the struggles of everyday life together, they discover that some things -- the ups and downs of marriage, the desire to be a good parent and raise a happy family -- are universal. Intergalactic, even.

Micitype Pretty Good
SunnyHello Nice effects though.
Chirphymium It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
Roxie The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
digitalbeachbum This show was awesome. It was quirky and off center. The main story is a family from New Jersey which moves to the suburbs only to find out that the entire sub division they moved in to is filled with aliens who are studying Earth for invasion.Filled with a wide range of characters I found it extremely funny as the aliens learn more and more about humans, but how the humans learned more about their own lives through the aliens.The fact that this show was canceled, along with Firefly as another example, it shows execs in production companies are out of touch with the common person. This show shouldn't have been canceled and it is sad there are only three seasons.
wheelercub The Neighbors is one of those original comedies that just seems okay at first impression. But after a few episodes, and a greater understanding of the premise, the show explodes into a hysterically funny nerd-fest of pop-culture references and jokes about the insanity of mankind. The characters in the show continue to grow with each individual episode, and while sometimes bizarre and misunderstood (like the creepy redheaded child Dick), the aliens grow into an array of adorably endearing punchlines. Best yet, there are a large number of hidden gems thrown into character comments and backgrounds for repeat watchers to enjoy. It's truly one of the best written shows on television every character has something to offer for Comic Con nerds and families alike.
vandyke50 I hadn't heard about Neighbors until I read the show was being canceled so I thought I would have a look. At first I wasn't too sure about the series but by episode three I was enjoying it more and more. The cast is excellent and very funny, maybe Neighbors is not the funniest program in years but it surely isn't the worst and those others are not being canceled. For me it is a series that grows on you and it seems odd that ABC would cancel the show while flogging that dead horse "Once Upon A Time". The cast is funny and works well together so maybe ABC should thank the writers and keep the great cast together. Over the years some shows have taken a while to catch on, this may be one of those. I hadn't even heard of the series so maybe if ABC spent some time telling folks about The Nieghbors maybe ratings would improve. ++++ I wrote that some time ago, now I'm baffled as to why such a fine comedy would be shot down by ABC. The characters grow on you, the humor is adult the plot worth continuing. Now as of April 2014 I'm very sad to see these great characters disappear. Well done writers and cast, thanks.
fallenfilm Just awful in every sense of the word. This shoddily produced and horribly written turd of a show makes "Third Rock from the Sun" look like high art. The only place in time that this show would remotely work would be following the rubber-suited, live action dud "Dinosaurs!" from the early nineties. Whatever writing staff that conceptualized this junk should be fired first thing. It's ironic, in a sense, that the studio managed to follow one of the best shows on TV (Modern Family) with this B-movie reject of a program. Clearly all the positive reviews for this show were written by cast, crew, friends and family, for there's no way an impartial viewer could possibly make it through the duration of an episode without immediately changing the channel.
