Synopsis

After 18 years of marriage, high school sweethearts Bill and Judy Miller still make each other laugh and try to keep their marriage intact, even when their family pulls them in different directions. Since Bill has a far more immature approach to marriage and raising their three children than Judy does, they work at striking a balance and remembering why they love each other, quirks and all.

ChanBot i must have seen a different film!!
Gutsycurene Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Josephina Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
gianninawedde This show is not funny. I have no idea why some viewers compare this dull show to all time classics like Roseanne or King of Queens that had such intelligent humour in it. Still standing is a sleeping pill. The stories are lame, the characters are people i do not enjoy looking at and the humour is neither sophisticated nor pithy, it is simply poor. I don't know if there is a special American humour to it that i don't get as a German but i certainly need more than what this show offers to feel entertained. If I had to compare this show to comparable formats I would say it is quite similar to Jim Belushis show (which is quite lame too).
Joe Klemmer I also happened on this show while randomly cruising the channels. Initially I watched it because I've always had a crush on Jami Gertz, but the show has some very different humor that makes it rally worth watching. One of the interesting aspects of this show is how the humor is often uniquely funny yet occasionally horrid. Insult humor is, for me, about as unfunny as anything can get. So when the "jokes" lean towards portraying unconscionable behavior it rankles me deeply. Thankfully the majority of the time is spent on the honestly funny side of funny. I would recommend that everyone give it a viewing if possible. You might, like myself, find a little diamond in the rough.
Toucan Sam This basically sums up this show: "An English guy, using a bad American accent, rips off Archie Bunker as he, along with his family, have conversations which consist of a series of bad punchlines from other sitcoms that didn't work, but they had to use them somewhere." This show is unbearably bad and stinks of every other generic sitcom that ever existed. There are no original ideas, no original plots or jokes, and why does Mark Addy use an American accent? It would be funnier (if not slightly more original) if he was an Englishman and they used that as an on-going gag, but that might actually differentiate it from every other cheeseball show. This show is so embarrassingly bad, you are shocked to see you're not watching Public Access or a college-TV show, but in fact are watching a major television network. The punchlines are all forced and the writing is awful. This show is for people who don't get "Seinfeld" or "The Simpsons" and need to be spoon-fed their comedy in order to get a joke. This show makes "Who's the Boss?" seem genius by comparison, even Tony Danza would think this show is lame. This is the show "Family Guy" is a parody of. Somebody has naked pictures of the President of CBS, that's the only way this thing could have gotten picked up.
lemonhead135 I had no idea this show even existed until about 4 months ago. I happened to stumble across it, and couldn't believe how awesome it is! My boyfriend and I watch it together all the time and joke around about how we will be Bill and Judy and get to be mean to our kids when we get older! I tell all my friends about it and they agree. Plus I think that Tina is a great character....I love how she messes with everyone and she totally flies under the radar. I don't know who first started airing this show, but I feel it should definitely get more publicity because I think they are more like a regular family, as opposed to all these "perfect" families on TV when we all know that everyone families are dysfunctional!
