Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

Mr-Fusion Man, George Miller directed a happy-fun kids movie. I realize that everyone and their mother's already pointed that out a thousand times by now, but . . . It's just not what you'd expect from the maestro of Mad Max movies. And it ain't bad at all."Happy Feet" moves from an ugly duckling story to one that's purely agenda-driven, but it offers a fun time doing it. The songs are good, it looks fantastic and Robin Williams walks a fine line between overbearing and scene-stealing (as only he can).Good luck keeping those toes from tappin'.7/10

Though Mumble's mom, Norma Jean, thinks this little habit is cute, his dad, Memphis, says it "just ain't penguin." Besides, they both know that, without a Heartsong, Mumble may never find true love. As fate would have it, his one friend, Gloria, happens to be the best singer around. Mumble and Gloria have a connection from the moment they hatch, but she struggles with his strange "hippity- hop pity" ways. Mumble is just too different--especially for Noah the Elder, the stern leader of Emperor Land, who ultimately casts him out of the community. Away from home for the first time, Mumble meets a posse of decidedly UN-Emperor-like penguins--the Adelie Amigos. PartialMovieViewer This movie might have been good if it was devoid of all the divisive political undertones. I am all for saving the world, stopping the hate and riding the 'guilt wagon' into the sunset. But to have this as a regular menu item on all that is, "Hollywierd" or Disney – is just a reflection of youthful arrogance or aging culpability. Stop wasting my time and money preaching your personal views and opportunism. Sadly, the skill-levels of the visual artists involved in this effort, tower miles above the script writers, directors, producers and others influencing the content. Give us a break, please. Leave your politics at home and please stop trying to poison the well of children. That, I think, is more offensive than the strong sexual content within this movie. Don't get me wrong, sexual content (if you really can't write anything without it) can be fine - when it is skillfully hidden. In 'Happy Feet', it was not. I am sure the young will love this production, great – congratulations – you made your money. I used to be a fan of Disney films, but more and more, find them more repulsive than enjoyable. Most productions are not for kids anymore…unless their new intention is to divide youth form youth, or children from parents…I don't know. At this point, what difference does it make, I don't care. For this movie, I wish I could get this part of my life back. I will not see another Disney production unless I get positive feedback from a trusted source.

I never laughed so hard in my life. After reading some of the negative reviews on here, I just have to say that some people really don't get it. It is very light-hearted and it isn't complex at all. My girlfriends and I were so excited to see this movie, thinking it was going to be a fun movie. The main plot of the film was constantly being interrupted. You can predict the whole movie and ending very easily. If you can find it on DVD, buy it for sure and enjoy.
