Stometer Save your money for something good and enjoyable
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Casey Duggan It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
Jakoba True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
keelhaul-80856 I watch this show at the bar occasionally, because the bartender leaves it on, but hardly ever at home. Basically, think of any mediocre sitcom, just with a bunch of fat people and stale jokes, and you basically have Mike and Molly. Is it the worst show I've seen? No, but certainly far from the best. There is nothing that stands out as memorable except obese people and their friends yapping about something that is about as funny as your daily conversation with the coworker you have to talk to coming out of a bathroom or something.I also find myself checking out one of the thick(but not huge) friends with a cute face and nice rack, but the rest is just blah. Is Mike a security guy, meter maid, or a regular cop? I think he is a real cop, but again, I'm so bored and disengaged I don't even know for sure. Anyway, as a cop, I'm surprised you could even be on the force and be that large. He looks like Jaba the Hutt with a hat on. This show is just the same old "Hey look, funny fat people with quirky stuff to say!!" I'll continue to watch it while drunk as a captive audience, but not on my own time regularly.
Timea I really really liked this show when it started. It was about two people falling in love, who are happen to be fat, but most of all just your average human beings, with insecurities about life and how to live it. It was great to watch these characters clumsiness and struggles through funny but still somewhat believable situations. I remember watching the ending of the 3rd season (I think it was the 3rd, right before the new Mike & Molly), when Molly told Mike she was pregnant. I couldn't wait for the new season, so before the new season started, I binge watched the whole first 3 seasons, and then came the surprise, at the end Molly's pregnancy bomb was not there - it turned out, it wasn't even aired in the US, it was only in the first Canadian version, which I saw. And then started this whole "new" thing which is exactly the opposite of the earlier seasons. The characters are unbearable and not a slightly bit lovable. I just stopped watching after a few episodes. Came back for a few glimpses, but nah. I wish they would went with the pregnancy and starting a family line, that would have been so great. Seriously can't understand why they choose this path. So the first few seasons are a 8 or maybe even 9 for me, the latter are 1 or 2.
Taylor Kingston I really love this TV show. When it first came out, and I watched the Series Premiere, I wasn't that impressed. It was only recently that I decided to re-watch it, and give it another chance. Make sure you watch past the first episode, because it gets way better. The only thing I don't like about this show is that at the beginning of Season 4, everything has changed, without explanation. For example, someone, I won't say who, was pregnant in the Season 3 Finale, but in the Season 4 Premiere, she wasn't pregnant, was drinking beer, and there was no mention of what had happened. Can you say confusing? And Molly's character changed completely. She would do something, and I'd go, "That's not something Molly would do."This show follows the lives of Mike, and Molly, who meet at an overeaters anonymous. They start dating, fall in love, get married, etc, etc. Their family are also heavily involved in the show. Some of my favorite characters are definitely Vince, Victoria, Carl, and Joyce.Overall, I give this TV show an 8 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Awesome.
deshan-78580 Before I start this review, I may let you guys know that this review might contain a few spoiler alerts, viewer discretion is advised.Mike & Molly is an American sitcom starring Billy Gardell & Melissa McCarthy. It first debuted in fall of 2010 on CBS. The basic plot of this is about a police officer Mike (Billy Gardell) and a elementary school teacher Molly (Melissa McCarthy) have met each other one time at a local coffee shop, then as the show progresses, two of them are actually trying to get together as a happy couple. Now let's see if I would recommend this show or not. Pros: - Good concept & presentation - Well-developed characters Cons: - Bad acting - Bad writing - Horrible humor - Unnecessary laugh track Overall, I'll give this show a big fat 3 out of 10 (Bad/Not Very Enjoyable). Too bad, this show has a nice potential, but in the end of the day, it became a boring & tedious show. If you want a good modern sitcom, try watching The Big Bang Theory, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, or Mom. Do not watch Mike & Molly unless you're a big fan of Melissa McCarthy.
