Scanialara You won't be disappointed!
Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
dwashjohnson **SPOILERS**I remember watching the trailer and thinking, this seems legit! After watching the movie, the trailer was made to trick people into thinking those exact thoughts. While I still liked the concept, the best parts were involving the plane flying scenes, where there was little to no dialogue. I don't mind Andrew Keegan, he did a decent job, but some of his lines just made me cringe. The script was so poorly written and the editing job was horrible. There would be extended seconds added onto scenes that should have been cut that weren't, making the extension awkward. I also wondered if Nick Carter is that horrible of an actor or did the role call for him to be an over the top douche bag? His character was annoying and just made me think, honestly, who would hang out with this guy? I really couldn't decide what was worst, the acting or the screenplay. Some of the one-liners were just awful and the acting of the supporting cast was bad at best. I will admit though that the main drug cartel guy did a good job. I sadly was routing for him to shoot down the planes of the "good" guys. So all in all, I would not recommend this movie to anyone, except people who find planes and drug running fascinating. Once again, the concept was awesome, but the delivery of the movie fell short of the expectations the trailer teased!
narayan-6 This was an enjoyable film for pilots as the action was quite real and some of the technical aspects of flying were accurate. For example, in the beginning there was a scene where the aircraft needed a hot start and the main character had to wait it out on the runway to get the plane restarted. On the other hand, flying through downtown LA was clearly dumb. At times the humor was cheesy, but overall it was fun to watch with the great flying sequences. The main characters were likable and real. The outcome at the end was far-fetched considering the scale of the crimes, but I don't think that was the aim of the movie.
thing1n2d This movie has one of the best looking cast. All the leads - Brandon Quinn, Andrew Keegan, Nick Carter and Natalia Cigliutti are beautiful. Nick Carter is really good and funny as Foreman. It's also got nice cameo roles by Robert Patrick, Tom Arnold and Shawnee Smith.Kill Speed has a lot of energy and is a fun movie to watch. There's a lot of subtle jokes and humor you'll catch if you pay attention. The airplane/jet sequences are amazing. The soundtrack rocks, especially, the "Head Over Heels" cover! It's definitely the kind of movie you'll want to see in a theater or with a great home sound system. Hopefully, they'll release a soundtrack as well.Definitely worth watching if you just want to be entertained.
gordoalc I was interested in watching this movie after seeing the trailer. It seemed like a good, fast-paced action thriller, dealing with meth. Considering I am addicted to Breaking Bad, I thought it would be, at least, entertaining. The movie has some good elements, and they must have invested quite a bit of money in all of the flying scenes--and there are a lot of them. Unfortunately, this is the only part of the movie that is actually interesting, and well executed. The script seems to be written for a juvenile book, rather than as screenplay. Some jokes are just not the kind of things you would hear someone say, although they may look somewhat funny on paper. There were a couple of moments where I couldn't believe how bad some of the lines were. One of the things I will remember this movie for, is the particularly bad jokes the actors had to say. Since they invested so much into the flying scenes, why not spend some more time and effort into a good script? There were also some obvious technical mistakes with the lighting in some of the scenes, which showed a rather careless attitude towards delivering a polished product. While most of the flying scenes looked good; a lot of the police headquarters scenes looked very cheap. The police chief was good looking enough for an acting role, but; did not match at all, the persona or character required for such a role, nor did the snitch-girlfriend. One memorable moment is when he puts his foot up on the chair while cutting a deal with the main character. It was such an odd and seemingly uncomfortable position, filmed from such a bad angle, that it ruined any little credibility that scene could have produced. Very few of the cops looked like real cops, as they tried too hard to be tough; obviously not succeeding.Overall, it is a movie for teenagers that are not too critical on either the acting, script, special effects, or corniness of a situation (there were quite a few of those). From that perspective, it can actually be an enjoyable experience. But for a mature audience, this film simply will not work. However, it was a good idea, and I hope the Director takes advantage of the opportunity and learns from the mistakes made in this production, in order to not repeat them in the future.
