UnowPriceless hyped garbage
Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Candida It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
spikeprime I never quite understood the deranged children who enjoyed this series. When I was a kid, and Angela Anaconda would air in between actual cartoon series (sometimes giving intro's and outro's to things for some reason), I always found her bizarre art style, disturbing stuck facial expressions, and horrendously shrill voice both horrifying and annoying as that one troll with bad grammar who knows exactly how to infuriate you. That's what Angela Anaconda is, ultimately, as a character. She's a troll. A disturbed sociopath who, from all indications of this show, will likely have a bell tower, a rifle, and 25-to-life some time in her future. Please, people aren't kidding when they say this show is insane, and will drive you to the same. For your sake, and for the sake of prosperity yet to come, don't watch. Burn every copy. RUN FOR YOUR LIIIIIIVES!!!
craighubleyca I'd say this cartoon is up there in the same category with South Park (unbeatable), The Simpsons (incomparable), Family Guy and American Dad (indistinguishable and count as one) and King of the Hill (so sincere and ironic and realistic despite its often absurd premises it can't be left off the list). It's more juvenile than the others and has more use of repetition, and the bad animation is part of the joke (a tradition going back at least to Jay Ward and Roger Ramjet and Underdog and those) so no complaining about that. The lead character, Angela, is hilarious and sympathetic, very much a Pippi Longstocking, whom I am sure she's modelled on. The side characters except for Nanette Manoir and the teacher are more forgettable. The rivalry between Angela and Nanette is absurd but remains pretty amusing. Grossness isn't up there with Ren and Stimpy but sometimes gets to that category.
karbenbased8786 This is what should be on the cartoon network and all other shows in this country, but thanks to Disney, it was canceled. This show is awesome, its weird and funny and off-key - which makes it fresh and interesting. There is one DVD out for about ten bucks on sites like amazon - very much worth buying in order to see this show, if you are an animation fan like me. There needs to be more shows with bite and sarcasm and social commentary in them like this show. Its hard to describe Angela Anaconda exactly, but the animation is surreal and she is like Bart Simpson in a lot of ways, and if you liked Bart you'll like Angela.
Skaven252 Whenever I read an editorial review of this series, they keep huffing and puffing about how remarkable the cartoon is in teaching kids to just be themselves. They think it's incredible that "Gina Lash is heavily overweight, but she doesn't give a damn because she's also the smartest". Woo hoo, if they find *that* remarkable - and can't find anything else remarkable about the show - I just guess there isn't. It's spoon-feeding you values with just a slightly different spoon. The show was fun for a while, but then it started getting repetitive and annoying. Next!
