Keeley Coleman The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
gwnightscream This 1988 horror comedy stars Zach Galligan, Deborah Foreman, Michelle Johnson and David Warner. Galligan (Gremlins) plays Mark, a rich teen who attends a midnight showing of a wax museum with his friends. They become magically, transported through the exhibits of dangerous characters and play certain parts/roles before meeting their demises. Foreman (April Fool's Day) plays Sarah, Johnson plays China and Warner (The Omen) plays Lincoln, a warlock who runs the museum. This is a bizarre film with a bit of fantasy elements added and good make-up effects. Give this a try at least once if you're into horror/occult flicks.
SpinSpinSugar69 I saw this as kid or teen at some point and found it fun. Mind you I was very into B Grade horror,so my tastes were odd. It's a silly film and the acting is mediocre at best but if you can take it for what it is, a fun homage to all things horror,with some camp and comedy tossed in you might enjoy it. The thing that bugged me most was Dracula and the dinner scene(you will see). I don't think vampires eat that....but whatever
amostviciouscircle First off, if your reading this or looking into this movie Im assuming you like 80s horror, or are interested in it in some way or perhaps have some fetish for one of the actors or the director.Either way to rate an 80s horror movie as you should know is in its own rating system, because 80s horror movies are its own category/genre and WAXWORK is high up on the list in the decade horror most thrived.This movie had every element of 80s horror without taking itself to seriously and also not being to stupid at the same time. It was just FUN to watch, entertaining and never a dull moment... well maybe one or two so fine it gets 8 stars.So if you like 80s horror and never seen this one, WATCH IT NOWThis isn't a spoiler but just something I thought was kind of cool, the ending sort of reminds me of a low rate 80s version of the ending of "The cabin in the woods" you'll see what I mean.
atinder heard about this movie but I didn't read the plot before, As was thinking, this Wax people will come to life and kill off teens one by one,I was really shocked that it's wasn't what I was expecting, which is a good thing, I liked the movie takes some times so you get to know teen before going into the movie.I really liked some first Wax story about werewolf was good effects in that movie, that part and I didn't like second that much at all and third the police man was funny. There were some very funny moments in this movie, that made me laugh out loud.I really liked how the movie flowed never once did it get boring and at a lot of stuff was happening, Great fun and movie
