Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
addison777 I personally think that this movie is great! I would definitely recommend reading the book before watching it, but it is a watchable movie without having prior knowledge from the book. This movie/book has so many layers to analyze, so don't just casually watch this movie, get invested!
yasirjunejo Movie was quiet better.but the end of this movie, killed the beauty of it.though i was a great story.and combination of leonardo's and tobey was so Awesome.
smithrachael-59202 As a junior in high school, The Great Gatsby was a required book that we read and analyze. At first getting into the story and understanding the world of Nick and Gatsby was a struggle, but for it to be brought to life many years later certainly helped me gain insight into what it would've been like. I was astonished with the amount of direct quotes that came from the book. Also, there were a few scenes where the directors literally made it match a scene from the novel and it was wonderful. Definitely recommend reading the book if you already haven't and watching the movie as well!
theparadise_dream It's one of those movies that you either love it or hate it. I gave it a 4 for the effort for the story telling, great indoor design and costumes. After 20 minutes I felt like shooting myself for not stooping from the first 5 minutes. If you feel you don't like the first 15 minutes then I would suggest you just quit.
