HeadlinesExotic Boring
Glimmerubro It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
mjsreg I like Hasselhoff - he's not afraid to make fun of his image and has done some really good stuff in recent years. But this film is pure junk right from the outset. The acting is awful and the comedy unfunny. Whoever the lead character is (can't be bothered looking him up) is not a good actor and is ridiculously childish in the way he tries to force humour where there isn't any.Don't bother wasting time or money on this rubbish.
Planet-38 If a movie makes me laugh several times, I can be very forgiving. And while not gut busters, they were outright honest chuckles. It has the look of a low budget, no name(s), made for TV (or straight to DVD video), and the story-line is pretty trite, but the actors do their jobs and that makes the movie entertaining.
James Graham I am not sure why I watched this as I expected it to be awful. However it wasn't. It tells the story of a nightclub owner who is part of a yearly bet on which celebrity will die next. Desperate for the S500k that the bet has risen to and having The Hoff as his bet, he decides to kill The Hoff. The Hoff plays himself and sends himself up. There are plenty of references to Baywatch and Knightrider. These are genuinely funny, especially when he saves someone drowning in his pool. Add in a black gay easily offended gangsters enforcer and other funny characters and you have a funny great film. This won't win any awards and if you want to watch a film to impress your friends, this is not it. However this is a surprisingly good film and David Hasslehoff does what he does best, playing himself for full comic effect.
Leftbanker If something makes me laugh, even a couple of times, I can be very forgiving. It's difficult to believe that in this day and age a film project can be so incredibly amateurish. They beat a few of the jokes into the ground. The production values seemed like a bad First Communion video shot by your uncle. Still, I laughed a couple times which is more than I can say for a lot of bigger budget "comedies" of the Adam Sandler variety. Just about every decent joke in the movie they stuffed into the trailer so you really aren't going to be surprised if you bother to watch the film. It's just about what you would expect it to be: a vulgar and childish that—in my estimation—connects for a few good jokes.
