In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Allison Davies
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

I found this Danish to be a very inventive and entertaining little movie. Unlike most Hollywood animations, such I tend to find tedious and frankly quite boring, but this is a highly original story unlike any I've seen before. It's got all elements needed to have a great time. It was cinema related in 3D which was very effective.I like the colorfulness, the highly comical figures and the fresh ideas, and to me this is far above many more well known animation movies. I love the inventiveness, and the moral of the story, though it starts off with a moral not suited off the mallets of children.I tend to think this is most suited for the children of 7 and above, though no younger children will take any harm in seeing this. The film is based on the colorful story "Sirkus Benito kommer til byen" (Circus Benito comes to town), which is one of many from the same town written by Ole Lund Kirkegård. Well recommended reading as well.
