Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
jadavidson-74823 I know many people have rated this movie poorly. That's unfortunate because they miss many excellent points about the movie. First, this is really a good enactment of small unit action in a difficult situation. Troops put into action against an apparent superior opponent, trying to save a city. Throw in a hardened SSgt that his troops don't like for various misplaced reasons and the development of an esprit d corps among all the characters combine to make an enjoyable movie. It's not that predictable. Just cool your jets, sit back and enjoy.
divinyllspam There are quite a few flaws in this movie, but all in all, it's really enjoyable. The characters are at least relatable and you can feel the impact when someone dies. It focused on showing more grit and chaos then a lot of movies like it. It doesn't feel over done with spectacle and explosions. I liked it. Fun to watch.
maruugaa Title sums up the review. I saw this in theatres when it came out. I felt like I was watching a video game being played for 2 hours. At the time it was the worst movie I'd ever seen. Then 7 years later they managed to make a worse movie called Red Sparrow which makes Battle Los Angeles look decent by comparison.
Ian Kane Why, this must be Johnathan Liebersman's 2-hour long graduation project for the Micheal Bay School of Bland Action Movies! Gaze in awe how he uses the camera to make every single action scene in this movie completely unfocused and entirely drained of any impact on the viewer. Let's try not to forget the characters that done their damnedest to be forgotten as soon as you finish watching either. What else? Oh yeah, those aliens. They are probably the blandest the human imagination could've thought up.With this movie, he's sure to pass with flying colors. Let's hope he never makes another movie again, or at least makes a better one.Final Score: 31/100 (Plastic Medal)
