Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

A group of five people find themselves trapped in an elevator in the World Trade Center's North Tower on 9/11. They work together, never giving up hope, to try to escape before the unthinkable happens. 9/11 has it's moments but it never achieves the dramatic moments of it's source material and i'm talking about one of the saddest moments in history alright? This needed to achieve and expand more it's characters and the story of those people instead of having jokes, random scenes that had no balance and an ending that was disappointing. Also Goldberg's role was overcooked and under developed and i did expected alot more from this film. (5.4/10)

No idea why many reviews are so poor. I loved it. Suspenseful, believable interactions between the actors under extreme duress, and acting was well done. Not a fan of Charlie sheen myself but I have to give credit where it's due - he was excellent here.

First it's very hard to fill that amount of time in a small tiny enclosed area. There are other scenes, but the majority is shot inside the elevator. I thought this was pretty well done. Casting good. It brought tears to my eyes a few times. having livied in NYC when this happened.I thought everyone gave a decent performance. Very somber material, well done.Don't understand why so many people bad mouth it.

When I saw Charlie Sheen and Gina Gershon were both in this flick (I love both of them and inadvertently fell upon the listing), I was like "cool" . . . and then disheartened when I saw the 3.6 rating. After scanning the reviews here, I felt like the lower ratings weren't 'on' and so I decided to go ahead and check it out. Happy I did. It was a really good movie all in all and the performances of everyone were pretty much outstanding, possibly even the best of the lead act-resses'/-ors' careers and I can't think of a negative thing to say about it either, so check it out.
