ShangLuda Admirable film.
Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Aneesa Wardle The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Lou Hoek Upon watching Mortal Kombat Conquest: Final Battle (I did wonder as to why the producers didn't decide to spell 'Conquest' with a 'K', keeping with the Klassic tradition of replacing a hard 'C' sound with the letter 'K'), I finished it and vowed to never watch it again. However, i did decide to revisit it a few days later, as I'm not normally one to judge something on a single viewing, and as it finished, I understood why i made the vow of avoidance. Most of the show is not actually based on the story of the (in my opinion, phenomenal) Mortal Kombat series, and i saw it as basically a vehicle to try to shoehorn some overly muscular men and barely clothed women into an appalling attempt at a martial arts film. Although some of the fight sequences are very good and well choreographed, they are tainted by the significant lack of any distinguishable story line and acting ability. If you're looking for an amazing Mortal Kombat TV/Web series, watch Mortal Kombat: Legacy instead. Oh, and Shang Tsung's sex scene is just insulting.
sanderbraa me and a friend actually has this, bad film club. and in this club, we always go down to the video store and rent the movie that looks bad. and we found this movie, mortal combat two conquest. and believe me, i have watch a lot of bad movies. this is probably by far the worst thing i have ever seen. acting, plot, directing, music everything its just. nothing really. its so bad that it is nothing. everything from the lame fighting sequences with the porn like trance music to the bad jokes that really just makes me sad. and wtf with those spandex pants on kung lao? wtf?!? if it was a perfect movie, this is the complete opposite. it makes uwe boll lock like citizen kane. but ill give it 2. because its so bad that it deserves at least one point for badness. if your looking for a bad movie, see this.
Movie Nuttball I am a very big Mortal Kombat fan. I love both movies and I thought this series was a good one. Back when this on TV I was a huge wrestling fan (I am not happy with today's wrestling but I still love the classic WWF & WCW days back in the 80s & early 90s) and I'd watch this right after WCW's Monday Nitro show. Mortal Kombat: Conquest had good actors and actresses which included the beautiful Kristanna Loken which her character looked so good looking and neat in this series. Fans of Terminator 3 should check her out because she is very good in this. There was notable good acting by the other cast members Bruce Locke, Daniel Bernhardt, Jeffrey Meek, Tracy Douglas, Paolo Montalban, and others. There was even guest stars in some good roles such as Eva Mendes and WCW's Bryan Clarke of Kronic (WWF's Adam Bomb) in some episodes. The series had some big time potential but it didn't air long on television. If you are able to watch this series and if you love Mortal Kombat then watch it!
eilerson I started watching this show, cause I thought it was late night trash. Something to watch cause there was nothing else on. This all changed about 6-7 episodes into the series though. MKC started to introduce story arcs ( the characters memories arn't wiped after 45 mins for a new episode ). Things happen in this show, relationships and politics that you don't really expect. At the end of every episode, I was left saying to myself " that was the best episode yet...". The final episode totally confirms this, seeing as the show was not revived for a 2nd series, this is probably the most refreshing finale I have ever seen.
