Scanialara You won't be disappointed!
SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
Griff Lees Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Matylda Swan It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
akhilagarwal-91553 It was amazing to watch such a good show and for season 3 I think Dorothy should stay with Ojo and west and i hope lengwider will be back again and will try to beat Glinda and will harm Dorothy and her mother in which Dorothy's friend will help them,it will be a fantastic story I love lost in Oz
demona_3 I loved series 1. I hope they come out with a series 2.The animated show is set in a modern, metropolitan Emerald City in which 12-year-old Dorothy Gale II befriends West, a young, street-smart witch grappling with dark temptations, and Ojo, a giant munchkin. After Dorothy discovers a strange green notebook hidden under the floorboards of her house in Kansas, a giant green tornado tears her whole house off its foundation, stranding Dorothy and her dog Toto in the magical land of Oz.Instead of the Yellow Brick Road, there is the Yellow Brick Line, a train system that seems long shuttered and unlikely to take Dorothy anywhere. She soon befriends a sarcastic, street-smart girl named West and a surprisingly big munchkin named Ojo, while also learning of the mechanics of magic and the dire magic shortage in Oz. Before the pilot episode is through, Dorothy will have made some surprising new friends and a potentially dangerous new enemy, losing one opportunity to get home in the process. In the last few episodes of the first season, it is revealed that this series is actually a sequel of sorts to the books as Dorothy's great grandmother is the original Dorothy Gale.
alexmeadowcroft OK, so I have a young child who loves the animated films (as do I)... She fell asleep today after about 5 minutes of this pilot episode (clearly worn out today). I however continued to watch, finding myself literally gripped. To my annoyance there hasn't been any more episodes released (yet) my kid .... OK I'll have to watch this again so my child can see it. Very good story line and animation. A few adult jokes inserted into the series similar to Pixar and others and it'll be a great hit! Stick to the same style and length. Maybe a better theme tune, something fun and catchy. Otherwise... 10-/10. From an adult and his inner child .
English Carl My kids, and myself admittedly, absolutely loved this pilot! Was gutted to find out that it was a complete flop in 2002 so never got fully released. It's always a shame when something like this goes under the radar and never gets bought by a company when there are so many other horrendous films and TV shows that do! I know that IF this ever got released as a full series my kids would definitely be bugging me to buy it for them or rent it or watch on Netflix/Amazon or wherever. I pray to the guys who made this to go to Netflix and TRY to get this released again, or Amazon, whatever. As I said earlier there's so much bad TV out there it's sad when something my kids loved so much from one episode never made it. Maybe companies need to start letting the right people choose what does and doesn't get shown, and in this instance they should be letting kids do the reviewing for them!
