GrimPrecise I'll tell you why so serious
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
Borserie it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
essitacook I really like this series over all, yes maybe it's similar to some other Disney channel shows, but when you're a hardcore JoBro's fan, you like pretty much anything they do! One thing that I don't like about it though, is how they edit the songs on some of the episodes, it kinda bothers me, but some of them need to be edited for time, also I really like the relationship drama's not only between the brothers but between all the other characters, such as Stella and Joe; Nick And Macy. It's pretty amazing stuff, because the dramatic stuff is what I love about this show! I mean it's really not that bad for "launching pad" for their acting careers, and personally I believe you've gotta give them some credit, because not just anyone could just stand right up in front of the camera and deliver it the way they do! But, Like it or not, agree or disagree with me, thats all up to you!
goldylockz22 First off, let me start by saying I am a 27 year old elementary teacher. I constantly hear talk about the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana from my students so I decided to see what all the fuss was about one lazy Sunday afternoon. I found myself laughing out loud. I must confess that the show has made me a fan. I had not heard any of their music or knew anything about them prior to watching their show. Now I love them. I find them charming and entertaining. The show reminds me of being a kid and being able to turn on the TV and not be bombarded by hate, anger, or drama. The show is fun and innocent. I love that each brother gets the opportunity to display his personality. As for their acting, I find them to have great chemistry with each other and they are very natural in front of the camera. Kevin is classic and I look forward to watching him in the episodes. I cannot wait for season two to start!
ashleigh slater (pet-salamander) I think what a lot of you are forgetting is that Disney stars are often made to do a variety of medias for the channel (eg music video, TV show, cd etc). The Jonas brothers have yet to do a lot of these things aside from cds a couple of music videos a few years ago and a few documentaries. I think you're all judging this show way too harshly. It is /just/ a Disney show - intended for a young audience and even still its popular among older teens and even parents. Family shows aren't made to be complicated or else it would just be children asking their parents to explain the plot the entire time they watch. So to those criticizing for the seemingly "stupid" characters of the show, just how smart do you want these people do be? this is a kids comedy not a teen drama.
jnjmitch I agree with several previous reviewers that the format of the show is similar to that of a Monkees series and/or Beatles movie in that there really doesn't have to be much of a plot. I don't feel it's true there is NO plot, the plot is just VERY weak and simple. I mean why is Kevin, a 21 year old, going to the same high school as Nick and Joe for heaven's sake? However, I personally enjoy the fact that they play ORIGINAL music and you can look forward to a new song every episode or so (unlike Mylie Cyrus where you're lucky to hear a fragment of one old song every now and then). Basically, as far as I'm concerned, the best part of the show is that you get to see the Jonas brothers UP CLOSE: talking, singing, being silly, being insecure, and often they share interesting tid bits about their real lives (ie: family videos, visit with Queen). So if you have to watch TV with your kids, I am glad that iCarly, Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place and Jonas are different formats so it is not so redundant.
