SnoopyStyle Alex Kerkovich (Elisha Cuthbert) leaves Dave Rose (Zachary Knighton) at the altar. This leaves the group of six friends in chaos and they decide to ignore it to maintain their friendships. Alex's sister Jane (Eliza Coupe) is married to Brad Williams (Damon Wayans Jr.). Max Blum (Adam Pally) is Dave's gay best friend. Penny Hartz (Casey Wilson) is the hopelessly single gal.Six friends with interlocking lives, it sounds familiar. But unlike Friends, these six are sardonic and self-involved like Seinfeld while the jokes come fast and furious like Scrubs. Sure it's not everybody's taste, but it's mine and I just named 3 TV shows that I loved. Sadly they never got high ratings and the show was canceled after 3 seasons.

Lorenzo Von Macintosh I've just read they've cancelled this which is depressing news.It's funny, well acted, great timing, lots of surreal left turns. It's just brilliant and *inspired* comedy. Even when it gets ridiculous, they don't break character, which makes it all the funnier. It doesn't MATTER that there's no overriding story arc as each episode stands alone, and each is funny. I don't see it at all as like a Friends rip off, it's far too leftfield, the only similarity with Friends is it's got a group of people who know each other in it.Yet you've poorly scripted and acted forgettable stuff with awful timing that's basically a sequence of bad slapstick and double entendres (see "two broke girls") and that's renewed? HIMYM which lost its way a while back and has another season to go? What sort of world do I live in?! :(Please some other network pick this up, it's ah-ma-zing :)

shwan-348-526669 I was interested to watch it after the good reviews here, but the show is crazy .. the characters are unrealistic. the stories varies from interesting to boring to fake.. is it supposed to be funny? well, i guess, but it is really not funny.. kind a "black comedy" lost its way and become just "a bad joke".. the cast is good though, the problem is the text in my opinion, i love the characters aside from Eliza Coupe and Damon Wayans, Jr. who their relationship in the show is best described as "fake & cold".. am gutted to be honest because i watched it mainly because of Eliza Coupe. but i realized now that she simply can't act, in scrubs she did well, because she was doing a character with no feelings .. and it fit her well because she simply can't act, so jumping into a role of a funny women in relationship exposed her limited acting ability. as I said the rest of the cast, are lovely and you can develop some feelings for them but not Eliza Coupe. i give the show a rate of 5/10 because i enjoyed some episodes and some others were just a waste of time. but again the show has its own fan.. must be for a reason, but is not for me.

michael_h_090 Only show on television right now that leaves me crying of laughter. The witty remarks and hilarious comments make me laugh so hard I find myself having to skip back a few seconds to watch it over again. Aside from the ridiculous comedy the acting in Happy Endings is solid and the chemistry between the characters is incredible and one can go as far as saying that this show delivers the same excitement and humour as Friends once did.What makes this show special is the combination of the characters with different personalities finding themselves in outrageous situations. A must watch to all those who enjoy a good laugh and I can honestly say I have enjoyed every episode!
