Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
GazerRise Fantastic!
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Reno Rangan Whoa! Why I did not see it before! Seems I totally underestimated it. Lots of good films were released in the 2015 and this is surely one of them. Among the small cost films, this is one of the top 5 films. There's no logic, just a simple storyline with a dark humour. Most of the scene seems deliberate, yet as a one film, very enjoyable.A man whose life has never been so colourful, was once saved by a woman who later married him. But now they are separating and he's now getting back to his old position. Instead, he decides to end his life. Before that, he makes a list of 'to do'. Hence returns his hometown to face his past. Begins his quest which will be accompanied by a young woman. The rest of the film focused on the final days of his life.I saw it, that's all matters. Because, being a cinephile, I should not miss such a nice film. It's common some films go unnoticed, thankfully I found it. Now I definitely suggest it to others. Awesome performances. I liked every one of them. Sean William was top of it. Olivia Thirby was cute as usual. I had some good laughs, a few of them were loud ones. I could not believe it was made by Coutney Cox. She did a fine job. It was screenplay she has got, but I hope she will be doing more such heartwarming drama films.8/10
unholyone-15434 Well if your expecting the Sean William Scott character of American pie and Dude Where's My Car, then you will be disappointed, which is the only reason I can see people giving bad reviews. Which is still no excuse. This is why I think movie critics are saying he's no longer a good actor and done. But they know not what they are talking about, and as usual with their critique they are dead wrong. He does a very good acting job in a serious/dark comedy/Drama. It is very good all around about life in general to a point, with some very good points, and just insight. I recommend this to anyone who wants a good night of sitting and watching a very entertaining movie.Take a chance you will not be disappointed.
thekarmicnomad A man decides he has had enough of his humdrum existence so goes home to kill himself. As a parting shot he decides to fulfil a rather sad bucket list - confront the school bully etc. This film is a massive mess. It opens with a very bland monologue that has you edging towards the remote. Then, as the lead goes about his plans all the surrounding characters unload their personal baggage on to him.He gets the full load too, resentment, bitterness, jealousy, homophobia, body image, infidelity, regret etc. etc. etcCarving up this convey belt of pain are a number of misplaced knob and vagina gags. The strange thing is, I kind of enjoyed this movie. It is over the top, badly put together but somehow fun. The hipster in me was screaming in outrage as I laughed along to some really childish set pieces. The cast is all great, production great. Shouldn't work, but does - for me anyway.
HenbaineAccount2 Okay, I was dubious when someone suggested I watch this movie after simply scanning the synopsis. But I will admit, by the end I'd laughed, cried, felt uplifted, resentful, regretful, guilty and thankful. The movie starts of a bit dark with the lead role feeling he has nothing to live for, thus deciding to return home and tie up his loose ends before ending his life. A lot to take in within the very early part of a plot. This plan is going very well till he meets a young woman who decides to document his story via the media of a camcorder and ends up showing him the importance of perspective, selflessness and simply, life. How much your life can shape others, how every person has a story and a reason behind their actions that gets quite deep. Really beautifully executed, warming, emotional and funny with some really thought provoking moments.Rarely for me, I cannot think of anything I dislike about this title.
