linapopova Can i say that i absolutely love this show. If you guys are ever tired of watching heavy shows with zombies, vampires, stalkers and everything, this show is for you. This is a show that in one sitting you will watch it. It is a really loveable, comfy, hilarious show, i honestly don't have the words to describe how good and amusing it is. This show follows the life of a model named Deb who gets into a car crash and suddenly she wakes up into an another body, in details in a body of an overweight, very intelligent lawyer who basically changes everything about how Deb sees. I like Deb, but i love her so much more in Jane's body, there is something so loveable, comfy in Jane that we just can't help and love her more and as well as her crazy assistant Teri. The characters are awesome, everyone unique in their own way, the cast is spot on, the plot, world building, i loved it, that is all i've got to say. Oooh and i also think that Jane dresses better than any model out there, there are many top fashion advices in this show also which it makes better than watching some serious fashion show, just saying. I definitely recommend this to everyone, give it a try guys, i promise it is not some dumb show that will disappoint you, it is really great and with some really talented actors.
pegimac I would love it if this show came back on ..I loved it and miss it...people were into it...everyone I know loved it. Great cast, great plots and a story line you don't see much...please revive this fabulous show!! I know that the real attorney was in the judges body when he woke up...I still think about what was going to happen in the next season. So in short, the writing was great, well acted, music good, fashion, make up, and I felt good after each show...could not wait for Sunday night. Drop Dead Diva tee shirt would be nice!
Violet Weed Through Season Four I liked this show. Okay, I only ever half-watched it, because I work from home and like/need to have a 'distraction' for part of my brain in order to be able to focus on my own writing work (books) and also my programming work (software apps). Strange but true. However, just before Season Five arrived on Netflix I had sold my last startup and was basically just 'cruising along' trying out new programming languages and finishing final revisions for my latest book (I write my books under a nom de plume though I post HERE under my real name, just fyi.) So for Season Five, I actually leaned back in my recliner and decided to really enjoy the show. Alas! That was not possible, because the homosexual writers' agenda kicked in full force for this season. As a long time California resident (though I managed to escape that insanity ten years ago), I am fully aware that there IS a homosexual agenda, particularly in the entertainment field. Many of the writers are homosexuals and finally they believe that mainstream Americans have 'accepted' their lifestyle choice as 'normal'. Well, they are wrong. We do not, and as the millennials mature, neither will they. I can write a dissertation on that, but maybe I'll just go all controversial and finally write that book under my real name. After all, I don't care if I get ostracized by a few (or many). I care about being authentic. But here's the mini version: The homosexual agenda is to have it seem like anyone can raise a kid and that children do not need to be raised by TWO people (a married man/woman couple), but that any woman can have a baby with or without the benefit of a loving relationship with a father for the baby in the picture for the long-haul. That leads right into what they want: anyone can have a baby, in any way they want, via baster or via sexual intercourse between a man and a woman who love, and are committed, to each other... or via a woman giving birth to a homosexual male's baby so he and his 'lover' can raise it together. This is an immature "I want it all" self-indulgent belief system and one that many homosexuals espouse. So I do need to write this book, and go headlong up against current psychiatrist baloney. But I'm willing to do that. As for THIS show it went from semi-SciFi to verging on deviant porn, and I'm no longer interested in watching another episode. Season Five really reinforces the truth about actors... they are only parrots after all.
vampireveg This show was fresh, quirky and entertaining. The characters were endearing and the plot left the viewers in constant hope that the secret would come out. It was great to have a show where the lead character was a normal, overweight person instead of Hollywood's standard 'size zero'. And it was always a nice surprise to hear the lead character sing as one often forgot how good her voice was in between the occasional musical outburst. I was sad to see the final episode tonight (in the UK) but was happy that the writers and producers wrapped up the story instead of leaving it half told as many shows often do. There was a frustrating twist at the end but it was just enough to leave the viewers to their imaginations.
