Artivels Undescribable Perfection
Abbigail Bush what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Mathilde the Guild Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
kimmorrison01 I think that CSI: New York is unique among the franchise because it is the only one of the shows that I feel that the city is a character. In the original the city is a part of the show but it could be transfered to any other flashy city ( like LA or other cities). I think that New York City forces itself into being a character because of the size of the population being in such a small space. In every episode of CSI: NY you see a landmark of the city because if you travel anywhere in NYC you are bound to pass a recognizable landmark, or two or even three. I believe that NYC is a vital part to the chemistry of that show. I think that Sela Ward is a nice addition to the cast but does not replace the Stella character, played by Melina Kanakaredes. I think that Sela's Jo is a flushed out personality of her own and brings a more realistic romantic/unromantic tension with Mac than Stella's character ever did. I think that it is unfortunate that not more people are watching this show.
amethystwings32 I love this show and Iam, glad that was renewed for another year. This is by far one of the best, crime dramas I have ever watched.Gary Sinise is a great actor, whether it in movies or on TV. All of the cast is great,I never miss this show. I was not to happy when they moved it to Friday night at 9:oop.m.And now I just found out that this fall they are moving to 8:00 p.m. I really hate when they start moving shows around, because that means that one day;when your not looking the show gets canned. I like it a lot like other people; Iam glad that was not the case with this show.Because this is the best, crime drama on TV by far. That is my mom's take on the hit crime drama! I am also a fan , of the show and was pleased it was renewed another season! After fighting so hard to keep it on the air! Because it is one the crime dramas on TV next to Criminal Minds. To sum it up we love this show and give it an A+!
castielminion1 I started to watch CSI NY after I found out that one of my favourite actors, Gary Sinise, plays the main character, Mac Taylor. I fell in love with it instantly. The cast is great, made even stronger by the presence of Lindsay Monroe. The story lines are unique to New York (for example, a murder on the Statue Of Liberty!)and there have been some amazing guest stars on the show, my favourite being Myketi Williamson as the Deputy Inspector:it was good seeing "LT Dan" and "Bubba" on screen together again!!! Other notable guest stars include Ashley Simpson, Kid rock, Nelly Furtado (as a professional shoplifter) and Will Dailey.
disdressed12 in my view, this entry in the CSI series is as good as CSI:Vegas.many of the episodes are pretty exciting.i also like the characters a lot.CSI:Vegas doesn't delve too much into the personal lives of its characters, whereas CSI:New York gives you some insight into them.plus,Gary Sinise is outstanding as the leader of the team, while i also like Melina Kanikaredes a lot.the show is much faster paced than either Vegas or Miami.each episode is exciting enough on its own that a cliffhanger episode isn't necessary at the end of the season.this approach is different from Vegas(Miami,i'm not to sure about,as i don't think i've watched a full season).i prefer this approach.that way,you don't have to deal with the unbearable suspense until the next season comes out.for me,CSI:NY is a 10/10
