Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
NGcs Sometimes less is more...The lack of over-editing and great camera angles make Wheels Of Terror my 2nd favorite ghost car film. A very well-crafted one for a TV movie, that makes up for the bad acting with very stylish atmospheres and amazing camera work! They modified the Dodge Charger superbly into a truly sinister-looking car. Yes, it is at times boring but it does have some really good car chases that are really raw and lengthy in the vein of Bullitt (1968) or The Driver (1978). I enjoyed the collision scenes very much, they were realistic and very well edited, unlike many well-recognized titles such as Drive (2011). This isn't exactly for Fast & Furious fans, but for people who enjoy seeing car chases without 40 montages per minute. Definitely an underrated one.
matt_tawesson-1 This TV movie, "Wheels of Terror", was released to the small screen in 1990 (TV movie). Starring Joanna Cassidy and Marcie Leeds, this freaky and sadistic thriller is about a young lady (played by Cassidy) who works as a school bus driver and her young daughter (played by Leeds). They had moved to the country to get away from being city folks. This story is about a very sadistic, evil, and scary looking black car (the driver's identity is anonymous) that abducts, molests, and kills young girls. What was really shocking was the bus driver's daughter being taken right in front of her mother's eyes, and she begins a desperate attempt to track down the hideous car and get her daughter back safe and sound and hopefully unharmed. I had seen this movie twice in '90, but have not seen it on TV since then and not anymore. This is not one of my favorites, and I would not recommend this to other people whether they have school age kids or not. Joanna Cassidy and Marcie Leeds are great actresses, but this is not a good story; this seems to be a modern day "reprise" of Spielberg's Duel. What were the creators of this '90 flick thinking, anyway??? There are other great TV movies out and about, but this one should not have been made. Sorry folks!! I don't think that the movie should have a sequel. My grade for this movie: D-
NoDefeat This movie is a take off of "Duel", "Christine", "The Wraith" and any other movie featuring people being chased by vehicles. The over use of slow motion, the pathetic ending and all of the awful parts in between which make no sense (for instance, the car coming back when it finally lost the school bus and when the girl escaped from the car and got back to the bus when all the car driver had to do was brake or something to get away from the bus) and of course the mystery of the car driver (unless of course it was the car that killed and raped the schoolgirls :) ) make this film not worth seeing. Try any of the movies I mentioned above instead they would make for much better entertainment that this rubbish.
everbran Having watched this one day on ;local UPN during a very slow day of doing technical support on a weekend, I can say that I am scared that this movie ever made it out of the can.The opening of the movie, lends itself to give you hope that the show might actually be worth your time. But as the movie goes on, things go down hill. The most annoying part of this movie is that use of slow motion camera. It's like someone just discovered the technology and decided to add to the very pathetic dramatic scenes but slowing everything down.POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERTALMOST THERE TO SPOILER **BEGIN POTENTIAL SPOILER**I found it very ironic that the heroine, the mother of the kidnapped child, continually slammed her school bus into this mystery man's vehicle. Why would any mother continue to smash a big school bus into a car of someone that had kidnapped her daughter? Did they not think that one out? The car might flip with the daughter in it and kill her? She might not have a seat belt? Also, the explosion scene at the end seemed a little contrived and an attempt to give more to the "dramatic ending".I'm sorry, but this movie is a laugh, definitely not what the team that made it was shooting for. Official advice, don't waste a minute of your time watching this show.
