dbcseriesvlogs The movie has a good plot. To be a low budget movie is good. But the only thing that fails is the end because I think that more than 1 person left thoughtful in what could happen later. I would like there to be a sequel. But this time more effort and above all make clear many explanations. as who was the mother of emma !? What happened to emma's father !? Who was your uncle !? Did they have problems going to Washington State !? What happened to emma and evan !? Many things were like that. I want a sequel, and I hope it's done soon. Good movie.

jwcstorage The movie is your standard "outbreak" film: zombie, virus, alien, etc. People get taken over by a worm parasite on the other side of the world until it suddenly is hitting very close to home. NOTE: This movie is NOT about a virus, its about a parasite that takes over the host. Why they called it Viral, I'm not quite sure. There honestly isnt anything you havent seen before if you've watched any of these types of films before, only its been done better somewhere else. The two sisters come across as actual sisters and their acting is passable to decent. The love interest honestly felt out of place and wasted. I had hoped that with a wound he has from very early we would get some kind of nice "twist" but no, hes really there for no reason other than to prompt our main character to stop gawking and run away. Another wasted character is the father, who if you've seen him in other media you are probably expecting a good performance, but dont, as he's barely in the film. We have a very personal view of two sisters existing during this outbreak, one of which is probably one of the dumbest characters you'll see. FYI: if you get blood in any opening in your body, get checked out IMMEDIATELY.If you want a dumb popcorn flick where you can turn off your brain that has a touch of horror this might scratch that itch. However, if you're the type who cant turn off their brain and sees logical inconsistencies this movie will make your eyes roll out of the back of your head. There are just SO many things that are the epitome of stupid, done by our characters, by the script, by the government in the film, by other people in the film, its just so bad.IF you scare easily but get scared by horror movies but still like them, this might do it for you as there is actually little "horror". Theres a little body-horror and fake-jumpscares GALORE, and some VERY BAD CGI blood. There is a little bit of gross-out scenes of things like botfly removal or the effects of other parasites. I would pass on this one, its honestly not worth the time or effort unless you want to watch a brain-dead flick.

TdSmth5 During the intro credits we lean there's some kind of viral outbreak. Then we meet sweet high-schooler Emma. Her sister Stacey is something of a pain. Their dad teaches biology at their school. The mom is out of town, but there may be some marriage problems.It's not long before the infection spreads to their small California town. Emma's best friend of course the first to fall ill. The infected appear dead but then reawaken and spit/vomit in the faces of others, that's how the disease spreads.Authorities impose a curfew but what do the stupid kids do but go to a party. Of course eventually a zombie crashes the party and infects most people including Stacey, who of course doesn't tell anyone. Once Emma finds out she does research and decides she can cure Stacey. Because it turns out the infection isn't virus-related but stems from a multicellular parasite. So all she has to do is remove the parasite which nests itself in the back of the neck. The dad by then is long gone because he's stuck on the other side of the quarantine. The kids also try to drive through the military blockade, which doesn't quite work. Then there are forced evacuations but of course Emma can't leave her zombie sister. Eventually authorities step up their measures and the kids will have to find a way to survive.Viral comes across as a mild PG-13 teen zombie drama. But it's rated R for some reason. It's not much of a horror movie either as there aren't a whole lot of zombie attacks. The movie focuses nearly 100% of the time on the Emma character. Good thing that Sofia Black is lovely. But it doesn't make for a particularly exciting movie because there is no other perspective. At least the interaction between the two sisters seems real and is very entertaining. Not sure why it took 2 directors to direct this when there is no other vantage point but seeing what Emma is doing. Overall, Viral is an alright movie for teens that could have been much better had they taken advantage of the R rating.

vishnu-dileep08 It starts with a young girl who is having a good family consisting of a sister and a dad with her mom who is abroad. So one day an epidemic breaks out and all the people are getting infected will this family survive?Story vise it had a lot of potential but it failed to execute it properly, the concept was good but it did not hit the right notes. Acting vise they did a good job but they were let down by the script. Was expecting many scenarios in this movie till the end but nothing and got me disappointed. No I would not recommend this movie to anyone.
