Cubussoli Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
stjohn1253 This film provides plenty of hilarious, escapist entertainment, and the writers (with reservation) and director deserve much credit for that. The actors also had fun, and that translated to the audience doing likewise. On the other hand, T3 represents the illness affecting media culture. In the past, comedy movies delivered hilarity without vulgarity. This demanded creativity of writers. No one walked out of a Bob Hope film laughing to himself but knowing that kids shouldn't see it because of the offensive language. Risking sounding prudish, this reviewer thinks that films today have a paucity of literary ingeniousness. Four letter words ("cheap talk") proliferate because of the laziness of the writers who should give actors dialogue funny yet civil. In that regard only, Tremors 3: Back to Perfection disappoints.Writers, raise the bar on creativity. Demand more of yourselves. You need not attempt to go back to perfection, but take a step in the right direction.
AaronCapenBanner Michael Gross is back as Burt Gummer(the only returning cast member) who returns to his hometown of Perfection Nevada(from the first film) after more "graboids" surface, only this time, they undergo a further metamorphosis enabling them to fly! Burt is now a seasoned monster hunter, and leads a new group of people in the perpetual battle against this threat.Third film doesn't have the charm of the first two, despite Michael Gross's good performance, he is the only memorable thing about it, further hampered by silly and crude humor resulting from the new type of "graboids" that have evolved. Story has nowhere left to go, unfortunately, though there would be a prequel...
Horrorfan1995 Tremors I and II are great movies to watch. I was kinda on the negative view when I heard about a 3rd movie, thinking it wouldn't be great. But when I rented the movie at Blockbuster (to give it a chance), I was amazed for what I saw.The acting was great, especially since they brought back some of the original actors/actresses from the first one. The monster effects, well to be fair they were good, the CGi could have been better though. I'm not saying it's the worst CGi effects I've ever seen. At least we do get the original puppets and animatronics.I don't want to give too much away, just see it for yourself.8/10
Boba_Fett1138 Normally third movies, for genre movies such as this one, aren't very good. There is however very little to complain about this movie because it simply does what it is supposed to.Unlike the first sequel, this movie is being set in the same town again as the first movie. It was definitely nice to see all those familiar places again. It doesn't mean it has the same characters and actors from the first movie in it as well. Again, only two actors from the original movie reprise their role in this one. Michael Gross got promoted to the main lead for this movie and Robert Jayne, who played the annoying brat (which I mean as a complimentary thing) Melvin in the first movie makes a small appearance in this movie as well. It's simply a very entertaining movie. Nothing too brilliant or memorable, just simply some good entertainment. These movies never took themselves too seriously, which gives all of them a sort of camp like atmosphere and feeling over it, which is also one of the main reasons why the series is quite a popular one.I must say that this movie is being more original than the first sequel and the movie features some new creatures as well again. The new creatures required computer effects to bring them to life in the movie and I must say there is very little wrong with the effects. For a straight-to-video flick it certainly has some good looking effects, though lots of people still seem to complain about it.For a third movie this is simply just a good and entertaining one, that is just slightly below the level of the first movie.7/10http://bobafett1138.blogspot.com/
