The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

if its the Hollywood grade cgi or the incredible acting this film is by far the greatest film I've ever seen. after watching this film i truly found Jesus and found the strength to quit heroin. the fast pace action film that is the adventures of Chris fable is from start to finish an incredible work of art. 10/10 would bang again

After spending the time that can never be recovered by watching this film, I can only hope that the MPAA will come up with a rating that will warn us. Awful is really too kind a category. Is there a sub-zero? I purchased the film because of the Christian theme with the intention of giving it to a relative who teaches a youth class at church. The premise that this movie would hold the attention of teens is probably correct in that it would give them a good laugh. There did seem to be a theme that followed "Pilgrim's Progress" and there were some interesting scenes, but the attempts at special effects and scenery so distracted you that the film became totally useless. I will not be donating this film to the church library!

Terrible effects. Terrible acting. Terrible film. It's basically about an orphan who goes to another world where there's a Prince (who's about as sinister as a bean and a world where there's robots which look like cardboard boxes. My family found this fantasy more of a comedy. We spent most of the time laughing at the special effects and the acting, both terrible. The climax too wasn't great. the Box said something like 'Great special effects' yet Electric city looked awful. DO NOT SEE THIS FILM. The best part of it was I am afraid definitely the end. In a nut shell it was a fantasy brimming with a clear low budget and do not put the DVD in your DVD player, put it in your bin.

I didn't pay a huge amount for this DVD but still think I was ripped off. Yes, I grant that trying to make a modern film version of the Pilgrim's Progress, which after all is over 400 years old, was never going to be easy. However, sadly the message that should have been conveyed was beaten into submission by the truly appalling acting. And as for the "breathtaking" special effects - no one in my family saw any. On the plus side, I went to sleep for about 40 minutes in the middle of the film, thereby wasting less time than the rest of my family. My 6 year old didn't mind it too much, but my 11 year old said it was rubbish. Don't waste your time.
