Clevercell Very disappointing...
Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
RoboRabbit89 Wesley obviously did this for the money, I know he previously had trouble on the production of "Blade Trinity," so I think he needed something small to be a character builder. This film was it, it has a pretty standard straightforward story one that is familiar, although Wesley is the only reason to watch. It's been a while since I've seen this back in 2011, Wesley is a good actor so don't blame him, I would blame the writer for this under-cooked script. The action scenes are OK at best, but if I remember correctly, the movie was underwhelming as a whole. Still It was at least watchable to some ex-stint, Wesley is by far the best actor in the film. The villains are forgettable, same for the story and the movie it's self.Overall an underwhelming film that should have been better, but then again I don't think Wesley was looking for anything great, just somewhat decent after wrapping on "Blade Trinity". I give it a 3/10. I could watch it again I think? But I think if you want to see this, keep your expectations very low. It's a forgettable film you can watch on a rainy day, maybe with friends.
callanvass Wesley Snipes has had tax issues for years, so he's gone down the route of Steven Seagal, Dolph Lundgren, Jean Claude Van Damme, among others. That doesn't excuse how abominably bad this movie is. It's just over 90 minutes long, and it feels like well over two hours with how excruciatingly laborious it is. It has stock footage from the movie Navy Seals, Iron Eagle, among other things, and no action to speak of, aside from extremely boring shootouts. I don't know how much this cost to make, but it's really cheap looking, and filmed in Romania. I feel so bad for Wesley Snipes, because he is such a talented action star. He is very adept at martial arts, and is quite charismatic. He has barely any lines here, and phones it in. I don't blame him one bit. He's clearly trying to make some quick cash, but he looks bored to tears. He even appears dubbed on a couple occasions. They try to give him this mysterious character, and it fails miserably. He does no fighting here, so even die hard Snipes fans will be disenchanted. I admittedly lost focus on a number of occasions here. It really is that boring. It has many scenes, filled with uninteresting & poor dialog, which seem to go on forever. It's too boring to be so bad it's good, the action is mostly gunfire. Snipes had barely any dialog. It fails on every level. If you wanna see Snipes at his best, check out Demolition Man, or a Blade movie. This movie belongs in bargain bins, and it'll make you weep about how Snipes has succumbed his standards to this drivelDUD
billsweeney2006 A WASTE OF TIME. Does Wesley Snipes really need the money that badly? There are many examples of actors doing a movie just because they need to pay off a new swimming pool or pay down a mortgage. (See Micael Caine in 1980's "the island"). Matt Andrews left his good TV roles to make the money too. This highly Forgettable movie had a bunch of apprentice actors in it with no experience. How much did they pay to rent those abandoned buildings and the sewage treatment plant in Romania? $50 a day? The entire crew list had just a few American names. Another example of making a movie outside the United States "on the cheap". I'll probably think hard before I watch another Wesley Snipers movie now that he's shown that he's in it just for the money.
kimchinoodles From the beginning to the end... it's just bad, okay... even the special effects and everything else were bad enough... i mean even... okay In one scene where Snipes is over the Russian guys on top of the door, it's like as if they're BLIND! I MEAN COME ON! HE's FRICKING THERE! jeez. Also the guys who got tied up look like a bad version of high school dropouts who couldn't get a job at a radio shack, they all look clueless and go, wt do we do now -__-" This movie is so horrible, it isn't even worth grabbing it for FREE. honestly. if a friend of yours or a relative offers u this movie, say NO! it is THAT bad.
