Yes, this movie is for teenagers, kind of a chick flick; and probably that is why I enjoyed so much; but at the same time, the movie has some very good aspects; like screenplay, and soundtrack, anyone who listens to the soundtrack of this movie, simply falls in love with it. Is one of those movies where you get "all the feels". Also production is fine for this film. But I have to give a little bit of credit to Britt's character, Aubrey, I mean even her name is different, she is different, and like that, but I don't mean like some weird hipster or something like that, she's kind of antique, and what is more important is that she doesn't care is everyone is doing something, e.g. a Facebook account. If she likes it she'll do it, but if she doesn't she won't. I loved her attitude. The movie itself is good, it is enjoyable (more if you're a teenager and having a similar situation).

So at first I was not a fan of the movie. I thought the first scene dragged on too long. I thought the screenplay was dull and used awkward lines and actions to portray the characters. There were some scenes that I found unnecessary to move the plot forward such as when the guys ask where the party is and when Chase says hey; However, in life we often have random interludes, so it did make the film feel real. It's not the best movie ever and the acting could be better, but by the end of the film I was really loving the whole meaning behind the storyline. I loved Dave's friends who helped him along the way. This movie reminded me of my time in high school as well, and I thought it was very realistic. I loved the fact that the entire movie was set during a weekend. Coming-of-age films are my favorite, so this will definitely be added to my favorite movies list!

For a chick-flick, this is a lovely movie. I was forced to watch it & the pacing, the filmography-- everything fell into place accordingly. It's a lovely directed movie that speaks out realism in the perspective of teens. What I liked about this movie; regardless of what those two main characters were thinking of, be it rational or not, they still fell into that mistake due to "modernism" (quoting Aubrey herself) and the confusion caused by the society itself-- pretty much peer pressure in an indirect way. Although the raging hormones do play a significant role. The actors were adorable. I couldn't help but to "ship" them secretly in my head "JUST KISS ALREADY" was all I could mouth. They both interacted genuinely and sincerely, both being traditional & mature yet dying with curiosity of what people fuss about that is considered the most greatest thing in the act of humanity. The ending gave that positive light- a bit whimsical but still one should put an effort into conveying his/her feelings. Can't say it's the WOW girl movie, but certainly one of the nicest flicks I've seen out there. I won't mind seeing it again. Good rating cause in good mood. Blame it on the movie :)

Very nice movie indeed! Me and my girlfriend have enjoyed it greatly, and seeing others of its kind, this one definitely stands up! I think it's because it shows what's not usual in these movies. However the plot can't go any further, so that's why only 9 out of 10. All the actors in this movie were good, and it was easy to impersonate them, that's something I like about high school movies. Although the ending proves to be more or less common, it's still a refreshing movie I'd recommend to anyone, who doesn't need deep stories and psycho motives or so.Go and watch it!
