Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
Usamah Harvey The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Suman Roberson It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
Parth5542 I saw it in theater with my cousins and at first place i didn't like it at all but after 3 or 4 years i watched it again (probably scrolling fb and found a link) and yes it becomes one of my favorite movies. Awesome acting, Great screenplay, brilliant background score...... A great dark thriller, i love this movie more than any other aamir khan gems. This movie is for mature audience and is not meant for kids.
Zahra Farukh 1. Why Kareena was always so well dressed up when she worked with low class people? She looked like a high class escort and so glamorous which is against her character I believe. 2. Amir can't impress me. I enjoyed his work when he was young but now he just seems desperate, depressed, serious, old and god knows what he wants to proof. 3. There were few dialogues by Kareena that didn't make sense even when the mystery was revealed. 4. I love action, thrill and mystery but this was like a old wine in new bottle for me. I almost guessed the whole story before it ended. 5. Who killed Shashi? And why? 6. They got warrant in seconds to arrest one of the friends from that accident. 7. Smile is a beautiful thing but constantly smiling can make anyone look idiotic which happened to Kareena in this movie. 8. A dead kid writing letters. Really? They needed a strong point to convince me on that.9. What was the purpose of Kareena making Amir chase her in streets, got in a car and left. I think they just needed to drag it to make it a long movie.I never wanted to see this movie but my friends were keep telling me to give it a shot. I wish to go back in time and stick to my first decision.
anjumskhanbpl The main problem with suspense movies is they keep you engaged till the end but 90% of the movies fail in handling the climax well. This movie handles a difficult subject with extreme ease. This movie has a paranormal background but no where it goes over-board and keeps the suspense extremely well. Audience didn't even realize that what they are seeing is actually something else. Aamir khan decided to do this movie, so there was lot of expectations from this movie. This movie delivered it.Acting is real. Rani Mukherjee was Aamir's wife is excellent. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is sheer class. He is next in sequence of Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Girish Karnad, Sanjeev Kumar. Plot has enough twists to keep audience thinking in different variations.I can't think of any more justified ending than this one's.
prerna2526 For the first time I've seen an Indian movie so overrated on IMDb. Idk how?....well I guess even I gave it an extra pt. Maybe cause of.....well seriously idk.Amir,Rani, Kareena all are good... but the thing is they are just 'good'...the movie is too dark and too slow too handle... there are scenes which seriously cud better be cut off.Idk watching too much Hollywood is it... or what? But at least I found the story dull and predictable... there was a mess u wanted to touch the supernatural, cud have done it better that whole writing the letter...uh duh!...c'mon give me something. Then there was this whole murdered prostitute who seeks revenge thing...aaagh again too boring and repeated n number of times in various cinema. And buoy oh buoy I'm still trying to figure out why the hype with all the performances... Amir din't do an extraordinary job (playing the poker faced cop except for the last shot), and same goes with Rani (same old same old depressed mother and desperate housewife :p)...Kareena's expressions seemed to impress but the dialogues ugh!!! Huh in short... Nice try! Not-so-thrilling Chills! So-so story! Cud have done better! Not really 'out-of the world' performances! Everybody was just acting as if they were acting for god sake.
