Cubussoli Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Maryjnberry Updated version of Easy Rider, with spirituality, drugs and rock n' roll! Seeing native Americans, Mexicans makes the movie and the road trip these guys are on much more realistic, and interesting, because when you are on the road you meet all types of people. Protagonists here live in the moment, often what real nomads who happen to ride motorcycle do. It's hard for most people who live a conventional way to imagine 'being' rather than doing. Loved the native spirituality in this movie, makes it a great juxtaposition of sentimentality, against the harsh background of a bikers life. That he's not just going for a long motorcycle ride... he's actually working out his grief.
RooSaa B I discovered this movie after i started watching Game of Thrones some weeks ago. Jason Momoa got my attention after seeing his portrayal of Khal Drogo. I wanted to know more about this guy and see more of his work. So this movie was perfect for me, as he did not only act in it, he also co-wrote and directed 'Road to Paloma'.To be honest, i prepared myself to not like it very much. So i was pleasantly surprised after i finished it. The way they shot 'Road To Paloma' is so beautiful ... the landscapes, the settings, etc ... i constantly thought: awwww, this looks so wonderful. :) It is not an action-filled movie. It's a small piece of art, wonderfully shot, with great acting overall, and a story about family and friendship, love and injustice. You can tell by watching Road to Paloma, that everyone involved in this movie, poured their hearts into it.An impressive directorial debut by Jason Momoa!
amusso18 While not as good as it could have been, this was a very good movie. While the premise initially appears to be that Robert Wolf is on the run fleeing justice, it's actually more about him saying goodbye, knowing justice will catch up with him eventually.People have complained about the slow pace, perhaps expecting car chases and explosions. But the pace of the film is just right for the story. There are scenes that could have been cut or shortened, but this film is exploring the life and emotions of a man who knows he will soon lose everything. The film could have been more subtle in the way it portrayed vigilante justice, which is perhaps the biggest flaw. But it's not in-your-face, either. In all, solid movie. And the cinematography is fantastic, by the way.
leerufong cuz its a journey worth coming along for. jason at the helm as director and WOW you nailed it. this film was just what i was looking for one afternoon. may you offer us more glances into stories, characters and songs to share with us.the road is leading to Peace. will it be a happy ending? will we glimpse some Truth lit by smoke along the way? i encourage you the reader and potential participant to find out.some said the viewpoint of Robert Wolf is one-sided. Who cares? It's his story and this film delivers..thx jason, lisa and all involved with this project. i've watched it with my family of four including a 2yr old and a 4yr old, an' we'll watch it many more times i'm sure.cheers, lee
