It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.

This movie and Mary Magdalene made me so calm, these are both very beautiful movies, you don't come across many movies like this anymore

I'm very skeptical of watching a "biblical" movie, because, until now, I have not seen one that I considered almost 100% accurate both biblically and historically (with allowance for necessary fictional dialog). Most screenwriters turn most of a movie into their own interpretation of the Bible. Besides that, most have a decidedly Catholic perspective to them. I would take issue with one or two points of "doctrine," but not enough to matter.I would recommend this motion picture to anyone interested in the life and times of the Apostle Paul. A few short scenes of violence might make some uneasy, but that's the way the Roman Empire was.

The movie rather focused more on Luke than on Paul. Moreover, not much is described of Paul's life.

For me, it was source of joy. first, for the presence of James Caviezel , giving a splendid Luke. for the courage to be more than expected Christian film. for realism. and for Paul by James Faulkner.for Joanne Walley and Olivier Martinez. and, sure, for cinematography. honest portrait of a period and comunity, it is the right film for understand the essence of Christian faith. and that did it special. for many reasons. first - for the emotion defining it. for dialogues. for characters. and for accuracy. a confession film.
