Patrice I bought this video because I expected for an action film with an original script.I was disappointed by this lengthy film, which is overrated, in my opinion.The unfolding of the plot is permanently interrupted by songs or non-persuasive attempts to explain the incomprehensible characters'attitudes. These sequences are annoying, in particular if you not understand the language of the songs (Hindi, I assume).The ending is also highly unlikely, with combat scenes which are worthy of superheros. So, I recommend you to do not spend money to see this film.

Amrit Singh this one is easily one of the finest Hindi films ever. with flawless direction, mesmerizing locations, pleasant music and some stunning performances by almost everyone in the cast, this really makes for a great movie experience. Sunjay Dutt's role as IG Inayat Khan is one of the best performances of his career. Vidhu Vinod Chopra captures the essence of Kashmir so beautifully that by the end of the movie you actually start feeling proud to have such a heavenly place in your country. the story revolves around a boy(hrithik roshan), whose family was killed in a terrorist encounter by the IG of the state(sunjay dutt). the story does justice to every character's point of view and everyone's act looks logical with no loopholes. the movies raises a hope that after all the mishaps that's going in kashmir, there will be peace. after the dark, there will be a morning. and love and peace will en cover the Kashmir. the Dal lake will again be filled with heavenly water replacing the live explosives....... in the end your eyes will be wet but heart still feeling great...!! simply a must watch...!!

leave_it_or_take_it English Audio dubbing has been made available on the DVDs that can now be rented at Hollywood Video & Blockbuster.The dubbing is flawless! And I think the movie is a true neutral view of the Kashmir Situation.Good job!

harperlee Too many cliches. Prejudiced view of the Kashmir situation. Needless songs and unnecessary overacting at times by all lead characters (though this seems to be the norm!). On the bright side, great visuals, good music and a competent directing job. 5.5 out of 10
