intelearts Loveless in LA is actually darn good. It has some nice vignette touches in the comedy, and overall mixes romance, and straight-up humor, with the kind of slacker humor that made 40 year old virgin and Apatow a hit.We really liked it for its take on the horrors of dating in LA, it's running gags (TV exec who must extrapolate his vocabulary) and lot of small nice touches. It looks like lots of favors were called in to make this into what it is: the locations, and filming are nicely done.Shot in no time, on no budget, it is uneven in places, but if you like romantic comedies this is much better than most, and for a first time effort the script really shines.Sharp, funny, well written, and acted: this is slack, droll, and just plain lovely in places. Would rent and watch again...
