Vashirdfel Simply A Masterpiece
Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
Dana An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
Elite Sweden The acting is horrible, the editing is porly made and so is the sound and cinematography, everything looks as it have been done by amateures. Can't belive all the high ratings, not worth watching!
SnoopyStyle Callie Ross (Elizabeth Gillies) is stealing and getting fired in her aimless life. She steals her petty criminal boyfriend Jake's truck. With nowhere to go, she decides to go home. Her father, who originally cut her off, had a vegetative stroke. Despite her stepmother Emma (Cynthia Stevenson) and half-sister Laura Ross (Tori Anderson)'s open arms, Callie sees an opportunity to seek revenge for her mother who committed suicide.Trying to tell a story from the villain's side is always difficult and infinitely fascinating. It's different from other Lifetime TV movies in that the female lead is not a victim. In fact, I expected a tale of sexual abuse by the father. I guess it's interesting that it does not go down that path. It would elevate the stakes if the money amount is bigger. The style is strictly Lifetime TV. The switch does leave a confused rooting interest and resign this to a limited idea. Gillies has a damaged bratty beauty persona. She needs to spice it up with some more volatile violence. She needs to single white female this more.
kimmelien1 This is a great TV movie, I really loved it. The story is very interesting. Callie has witnessed the suicide of her mother when she was just a little kid. After that, her father put her in an institution cause he thinks she is as crazy as her mother was. Later he cuts her of financially so she has to make it on her own, even cutting her out of his will. But things change when Callie finds out her father is very ill. Now it's time to get revenge! What I love about the story is that you really feel sympathy for Callie, although she is the one plotting murders and blackmailing people. But who could blame her after what she's been through? Elizabeth Gillies (who plays Callie) acting is very impressive, she can show multiple emotions in one look and that is exactly what gives Callie that extra dimension, both crazy and angry but also hurt and sad at the same time. Gillies did an excellent job and that makes this movie worth a 10 to me.
stevetrowbridge98 Great movie and good acting, very underrated movie. Liz Gillies did great here, you wouldn't know that she used to be on the atrocious show that was Victorious on Nickelodeon. If Gillies was looking to break out of Nickelodeon and out of all the little kid stuff then she did it here. I would definitely check this one out. (Spoilers) The movie is about a woman called Callie who appears to have lost her way in the world but seemingly had some problems emotionally and mentally as a child. She is estranged from her dad but returns upon hearing that he has had a stroke and with no where else to go. Callie returns and is want very badly to make her father feel all the pain that she felt before. So is Callie really mentally unstable or is she really justified in all this?
