ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Salubfoto It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
Adeel Hail Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Red-Barracuda Andy Sidaris movies are hard to differentiate. They all seem to follow the exact same template – action movies starring a host of playmates as ass-kicking special agents who are also not slow to remove their tops. Hard Hunted is more of the same. The success of the films in my eyes is always down to the women. The action movie element of the film is as rubbish as it always is in a Sidaris film. There's copious amounts of gun-play, fights and exploding helicopters but it's always very third rate thrills. In Hard Hunted the story revolves around the whereabouts of a small jade Buddha statuette that contains a nuclear trigger. The villain – played by Roger Moore's son – is after it and the babes try to prevent him from getting hold of it. And that's all you really need to know. The girls are very nice to be fair. There are seven of them and they all find a reason to take their top off at some point. Every one of them is gorgeous to be perfectly honest but special mention should go to Ava Cadell and Becky Mullen, who play respectively, well, Ava and Becky. As a T&A film Hard Hunted is a success, as an action adventure it's completely lifeless.
unbrokenmetal Besides the landscapes and women, Sidaris' cinema is always a cinema of fast movement, too. Hardly surprising, since he won many prizes for TV sports reports before he specialized in armed babes! This time the best speedy scene is with a helicopter chasing a car. One agent is killed for a mysterious jade Buddha, but her colleague Donna Hamilton (Dona Speir) escapes with the artifact. Because she suffers from amnesia, she doesn't remember who the bad guys are, and then it is not even simply a good guys vs bad guys situation, but a third party of other baddies, led by a sinister looking Rodrigo Obregon (with a monstrous scar + eye patch!), makes it more complicated. One of the silliest story elements we were ever asked to believe during the Lethal Ladies series is the radio astrologist Ava (Ava Cadell) who transmits secret messages „coded" (uh-oh!) to the agents. Remember, telephones were invented long before 1992, and don't believe that if you work for a radio station, you could sit in a pool all day. What else sticks to my memory? Cringe-worthy dialogs ("There's nothing we can do till the morning." - "Even James Bond takes time off for sex!"), the beautiful background of the Pacific islands and the perfectly fitting, relaxing music, vocals by Cynthia Brimhall. This is the 7th out of my 12 reviews for the works of Andy Sidaris, in chronological order.
kellyle This flick is all T & A. With a small plot written in between these brainless Playboy Bunnys flashy skin shots. The acting is less than believable, terrible at times.. mostly the girls, but if you are a typical guy just watching all the naked boobies popping out all over the place you most likely wont notice. The scenery is all I really liked, being a girl and all. You might get a few lame'o lines to jokingly try out on your friends. You'd be safe stealing these lines because chances are your friends all chose another movie to watch when you saw this one. As far as 1 a.m. movies go this one is watchable, but I cant recommend it to anyone unless it is for a teenage boy. Spielburg doesn't have to worry about any competition though that is for sure.
Prince Prospero Well, this was the first Andy Sidaris movie I ever saw, and after seeing it I want more! This is a very underrated movie.. I can't see how anyone could dislike this one. Sure, the people who made this movie aren't big artists, but they know how to make a fun and entertaining movie. I would compare this movie to the new Charlies Angels film, except this has 7 girls, and they all get naked! Theres lots of explosions and gunplay, sure, the lack of budget shows in them badly but that adds to the fun. Although Dona Speir is top billed in the movie, Brimhall, Vasquez and Mullen are the hottest of the bunch. Oddly the only girl who is not so well endowed gets killed early in the film... I would recommend Hard Hunted for everyone, at least to those who watch something like Temptation Island just to see boobies. This is much more fun than that, I promise.
