Richard Gerard Evans CONTAINS SPOILERS--The only reason I rated this movie 2 instead of the 1 or 0 it truly deserved is that the acting, overall, was really well done, particularly the main character played by Teri Polo.Here is what I would have done at the end, if my family ever, even under such dire circumstances, would have treated me in such a way. I would have acknowledged that, yes, it did keep me from my drinking and smoking. Thanks. And then I would have sued that unethical psychiatrist and the staff to the point of any financial ruin possible. I would also have taken that ring, which apparently within 5 minutes won her back, and thrown it down the nearest sewage hole on the street, filed for divorce, and told the husband he could have the "best friend," as I would never have trusted either of them again, much less in the 3 minutes it took for him to convince her that he "did it all for love." Oh, and I would have sued for, and won, total custody for putting my one living child through a month of believing I was dead. Lastly I would have gone to the police and suggested jail time for all involved, as they wasted huge sums of taxpayer money in this endeavor to again show me that I was crazy, to say nothing of a false police call involving multiple officers when she reported her situation to them after escaping.Lastly I would have gone to the press, or possibly Lifetime Movie Network, and told my story for the world. Oh wait that part was done already:).And I would then have gone on with my new life.

atvbballrob Taken for Ransom/ Final Recourse is a thrilling drama about a wife (actress Tio Polo playing Brooke) who is driving her young son and gets into a car accident that results in the son's death. Brook then enters a deep depression as she can't get over being responsible for his death. She becomes unproductive at work and eventually is toxic for her young daughter and husband, who are already going through enough mourning their loss. Booke later get's kidnapped and held for ransom, until a couple of unexpected twists take the movie from good to great. Overall, the movie had the perfect amount of unpredictability and drama. I highly recommend it.

Ronnie Mark I enjoy a good psychological thriller. This one has it all: suspense, challenging plot twists, good writing that keeps you guessing every step of the way.The ending was interesting and tied all the other parts of the movie together.The acting was excellent, and the dialogue keeps you on the edge of your seat.So sit back, grab the bucket of popcorn, and wait for the thrills to start.The movie has a great deal of adrenaline rushes. And so often, what you think, is not.When they disclose at the end of the movie the who's whos, many will be surprised and shocked.So get your blanket out, stay warm, and enjoy the movie.Definitely worth your time to see.

edwagreen I've never seen a movie go completely awry in the last 20 minutes or so.When a couple lose their son in an auto accident, it's all downhill for the mother quite rapidly.This is just in time for her to be kidnapped and put into an abandoned gym with another kidnap victim.The two plot to escape and do so leaving their tormentors dead in a sea of bullets. Unfortunately, her fellow captive also takes a bullet.Returning to the real world, our heroine soon "discovers" that supposedly her husband is carrying on with her partner.It's then that this film goes completely berserk. The unimaginable occurs with our dead people coming alive. We wanted our heroine to return to good health, but what was done to her is absolutely preposterous. Ridiculous to say the least.
