Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

Benedito Dias Rodrigues Apart all scientific terms used by the crew member of institute of geologic survey is quite sure technically right,all special effects are great but when the pickup driven by Brosnan overcame a track of hot volcanic lava crossing the road, plus a little boy around 11 years old driving a van in dangerous road try to saves his grandmother.plus in the poisoned lake scene,plus saving the dog on the road and finally reaching the old mine where the car is almost crushed by heavy rock is certainly to misuse our capacity of faces such absurd facts.....this is outrage with the audience!!!Unbelievable at most!!!First watch: 1998 / How many: 3 / Source: TV-Cable TV-DVD / Rating: 5.5

decembergrit-95984 This is a great movie. I've seen it more times than I can remember. It's 2018 and I still get anxious and upset when they go across the lake in the boat and the grandmother jumps out to save them; when Ruffie jumps in the truck; when they get in the cave and when Pierce gets stuck in the truck and turns on R2D2 and it beeps. :) lol It's a Classic for me.

Mike LeMar My rating's a 4.5. This one's very entertaining and is well built up (applause). It has great special effects and good acting. My problems with it are during the climax. First the WALL holds up for them just long enough for them to casually make it down the stairs upon leaving the house, then the BOAT holds up just long enough for them to make it to the DOCK which holds up just barely long enough. Finally, they crash into the MINE just barely in time, which holds up from caving in just long enough for Harry to make it back to the truck to turn the signal on. Also, at the beginning of the climax, don't keep trying, until every person's had his turn, to get a hold of the grandma. If she hung up on someone (Harry), showing how stubborn she's being, what makes them think anyone else will have any better luck? It's stupid and a waste of time. And I like how the climax is based around them going up the mountain for the stubborn grandma who doesn't even make it down with them, being dumb enough to hop into the acidic water. Lastly, the drive over the mostly- dried-up lava on the road is so much garbage. Those tires would've popped well before they made it across.

Peter Copes Recently in class we were watching Dantés peek and I can say that it is a very good movie. It made a volcano look as realistic as harry is trying to find about the volcanoes and see if there is going to be another volcano at Dantés Peek.The characters where very good as Harry Grnesone as Piers Brosnon as he played it very well and it look very dramatic. Four years ago Harry was in Peru and he lost his wife by a phyroclast. He worked with Paul who was his boss and all of his crew including Barry and three others. Harry ends up going to Dantés peek to check the volcano levels. Harry tested the waters and they where proved to be acidic. Harry then seen two squirrels lying dead as the sulpher dioxide was killing them and the trees too as the birds were flying away. A man and women then got into the hot tub and they then boiled to death. Meanwhile Rachel was collecting was collecting an award for her town. Harry wanted the town to be alerted but Paul refused as the town could go bankrupt. Harry found out that the water had been contaminated and then went to the town's water supply to see it was discolored and poisoned. The volcano then erupted and the entire town became crazy. Harry and Rachel and the children rammed into the underground mine and got trapped but Harry got the Gadget ELF by NASA and sent a signal to his other workers and they found them and they got freed and took them home and kept them safe.I think this movie was very good because of the amount of gore in the movie and because it was very dramatic with so many cliff hangers. I think my favourite part of the movie was when they all got freed. I would recommend everyone to watch this move. Thank You!!
