Synopsis

Coming & Going is an irreverent romantic comedy that poses the question: How far would you go to capture the heart of the one you love? Lee (Rhys Darby) is a young, skilled OBGYN who lacks confidence when it comes to talking to women outside his successful medical practice. A minor injury temporarily lands him in a wheelchair and it is at that precise time that he meets his dream girl Alex (Sasha Alexander). Convinced she's only paid attention to him because he's in that chair, he stays in it to win her affections well after his injury has healed. Coming & Going is about love and the extreme things people do for it.

FrogGlace In other words, this film is a surreal ride.
PThreeLinz I simply adore this!!!I read somewhere that this film was completed in less than a month? This is unbelievable when you take into account the high quality of the finished product! Coming & Going is such a well written movie, with an amazing & hilarious cast to compliment it further! I laughed pretty much from beginning to end, & I love it when something happens in a movie that you just don't see coming!!!Rhys & Sasha were both outstanding in their roles, & I loved seeing the short cameo appearance from Edoardo!!Thumbs up to all involved!!*HIGHLY RECOMMEND*
reneelizabeth143 The TNT movie Coming & Going was absolutely spectacular!!! The whole cast & crew should be proud of their amazing work. Sasha tweeted me & told me the movie was made in only 23 days & on a low budget. That movie was the best one I've seen in a long time , if not my favorite movie of all time. The main reason I watched it was because of Sasha , but after seeing it I want to watch it again & again just to watch her & the other actors/actresses. If you haven't yet seen it I suggest that everyone sees it , you will be blown away by the awesomeness & genius that is Coming & Going. I have to write one last line & I will use it to say that this movie is incredible. I watched it two times the night it came out.
chanceofrainne Very cute movie, lighthearted, somewhat adult in nature (mind the little ones - you might have to explain some things!). Funny and sweet in the right places. I was quite surprised to learn that this was a 100% indie project - it has the look and feel of a standard-budget cute summer romcom. The actors are not necessarily well known, though Sasha Alexander's name might be familiar to more people now she's got a hit show, but they're comedy genius. Fionnula Flanagan is terrific as the nosy aunt who lives next door, Rhys Darby is perfect in the role of the guy who just can't get it together enough to make it with a girl, and Alexander is perfect in her role as the girl who's given up on guys (but not completely). Definitely recommend this movie to anyone (though like I said, mind the little ones, as there are definitely a few, um, "adult" moments).
anne-theinsaneone I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. Often when I hear about comedies involving disabled people, it usually ends up that the disabled are the ones being made fun of, but this one turned that on its head. There are two things in this movie that really struck home to me. One was the main character played by Rhys Darby pointing out that no one looked at him until he was in a wheelchair and the other was the shocking twist revealed by Alex (Sasha Alexander) that no one saw coming. It's a fun movie, and it's such a refreshing change to see characters who are disabled and not the butt of the joke. And of course, any movie with the delightfully funny, adorable and beautiful Sasha Alexander rates very highly in my opinion! (Nice cameo from the director Edoardo Ponti, too!)
