Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.

Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

Maleeha Vincent It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Jackson Booth-Millard The is one thing I remember this film for more than the story or even the two lead stars (which I knew too), and that is the nudity! Basically Gerald Kingsland (Oliver Reed) advertises in a London newspaper for a female companion to spend a year with him on a desert island, and he gets Lucy Irvine (Amanda Donohoe). A couple of meetings later, they are on their way, and most of the time, as I said, roaming around naked as they indulge in what the island has to offer, which is not much. It soon becomes clear it is not as idyllic as they would have thought, with both the island and their arguments creating tension, but they have to bare with it the full year. Also starring Georgina Hale as Sister Saint Margaret, Frances Barber as Sister Saint Winifred, Tony Rickards as Jason, Len Peihopa as Ronald, Todd Rippon as Rod, Virginia Hey as Janice, John Sessions as Man in Pub, Stephen Jenn as Shop Manager, Sorrell Johnson as Lara, Paul Reynolds as Mike Kingsland and Sean Hamilton as Geoffrey Kingsland. This is a very odd film for director Nicholas Roeg (Walkabout, Don't Look Now, The Witched) to choose, and both Reed and Donohoe aren't very suitable, there isn't much to say about this film to persuade you to watch it, well, maybe seeing Donohoe naked, but that's it. Oliver Reed was number 78 on The 100 Greatest Movie Stars, and he was number 26 on The 50 Greatest British Actors. Adequate!

priva-2 Nick Roeg did something which I am sure is way above most viewers' heads. A man decides to spend a year away from the madding crowd (who doesn't want to?) and takes a woman with him. So far, so good. But the man is so far removed from reality that he does not prepare properly, ignores warnings (they do not come at him as his normal world would deliver them: you should not, danger, etc. - friendly advice he sloughs off as inferior) and nearly starves to death. BUT, here's the interesting part, in his own mind he sees it all as idyllic and wants to continue. He creates his own fantasy i his head and lives there, while in truth he and the woman are starving to death. Anorexia anyone? If you know someone who believes in their own reality, make them watch this movie as psychotherapy. Will they survive? Watch and find out.

mmunier If you imagine yourself on your own, switching on your TV to accompany a frugal lunch and there on that screen you'd see a gorgeous young woman wearing her birthday suit in the most natural pose, for you to see all; would you call this a spoiler? And this in some way was only the "hors d'oeuvre"! I nearly bit my finger as I did not want to miss one frame! Well being on a commercial station it was not as bad a this so I did not go hungry either and for once appreciated those otherwise very annoying ads. I was only aware of one "castaway", recently with Tom Hank. I can tell you I did enjoy this one much more, I might have to give a go to the early one too, although if I understood rightly it's again a very different story. Beyond that thrill I also enjoyed the development of the characters through the story. I have seen the late Oliver Reed in a couple of other movie. And I expected from him a strong performance, well that how I know Oliver Reed, Bill Sykes! I sent my dice rolling on the table and it produced a 7 for my rating how about that. MM

elcutach This is based on a true story of a couple who were left on one of the Great Barrier Reef Islands east of Australia. I don't think this was filmed on location for the whole story, such as itis, revolves around the couple's efforts to survive in an unfriendly environment. There is good reason that natives do not live there. If you want to see half-naked people in tropical environments then watch the Survivor TV series. There is good reason for there not being a Survivor-Greenland or Antarctica. As to the north woods, the flies and mosquitoes would eat up the contestants, clothed or not along with having to endure long cold winters. The only reason to watch this is to study Amanda Donohoe's epidermis. But even that gets old after a while. Edit out Reed and the scenes set elsewhere and you might have a half hour stroke film. Otherwise forget it. The premise is because the couple cannot forage enough sustenance, she and Reed are gradually are gradually starving to death. In fact, neither appear to have lost any weight so the director keeps flashing a shot of the upper torso of some emaciated woman to make the point. But it is always the same shot. Though AD is nude most of the time , there is never any full frontal so this is rated B for boring and R for ridiculous.
