Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
cheergal It was on the TV channel so I watched off and on. Well, I wonder why someone even bothered to make this type of films. I don't think it could be profitable for one reason. I would rather watch soap operas which might have more excitements instead. Sometimes, I even found some good lines in them. Here is something about entertainment industry. Everyone wants a piece of the pie. But only very few could ever get it. I used to watch those movies on Lifetime channel long time ago. I would only guess this one probably where it is from. Yes, you can dunk yourself into such a movie to avoid deeper issues in life then yours would just like well-fitted puzzles fall into places. Those actors in this kind of films most likely never have break-out in their career sadly. Nevertheless, there are quite few famous actors started their careers in soap opera. So one piece advise to those actors want to be, you should choose soap operas over this kind if there is ever any given chance.
lisafordeay A Prince For Christmas is a made for TV film starring Viva Bianca and Kirk Barker and tells the tale of a young handsome prince of Beaumount (Barker)who is forced to marry someone he doesn't love. Sick of not choosing who he wants to marry he travels to America where his car ends up dead out of a small town in the states. He bumps into a young woman named Emma(Bianca)and he calls himself David instead of Prince Duncan. So as "David" is waiting for a train ride he of course ends up spending some time with Emma and eventually the two fall in love. Of course their romance gets ruined by Emma's ex boyfriend Todd who is up to no good. So will Emma discover that "David" isn't who he says he is?Overall this was a decent Christmas movie. Is it the best film ever no but its still not that bad. As I was watching this film it reminds me so much of The Prince and Me. Both films have a prince from another country who are sick and tired of being treated royalty. They travel to America where they fall for American girls who want more in life, the prince and the commoner fall in love, they find out about the guy's identity. The list goes on.See it if you loved The Prince & Me and Coming To America.
barbk-46000 This was one of the better movies of this type that I've seen..and not because it was filmed in my hometown. The local scenery was, of course, much appreciated. But the acting and storyline were simply very good. The relationships were very believable, from the King and Queen to the sisters. (Altho Kelly Lebroc was stiff...). I suppose it's foolish to believe that 2 people from very different backgrounds could fall in love in a matter of days, but the actors playing Emma and Duncan did a wonderful job , and made me want to cheer at the end when they finally kissed! It's refreshing to watch a movie about a young couple falling in love who don't fall into bed at their earliest opportunity. It makes the audience believe that these two actually LIKE each other, respect each other, and by movie's end, truly love one another. As for the complaint in a prior review that the movie was basically too white...well, I can report that, based on the number of cast members, one African- American was about right if you know the racial makeup of this small rural town. ( I recently watched The Wiz Live, and...it was awfully dark. ) Come on..we need to get past that kind of criticism. I'd certainly enjoy seeing Viva and Kirk in future films. They made an adorable couple.
StevenJones457 This movie is very bland. It's cliché and you can guess what happens witching five minutes of the movie. Which is fine, some people like feel good movies where everyone is holding hands smiling at the end. The biggest problem with this movie is that there is one person of color, who is introduced near the end as a minor character, a chef. An entire populous town has no POC in it? It's 2015, there are capable POC actors/actresses that can play leads in cliché holiday romantic movies. It's not like they're hiding or hard to find. POC deserve recognition. Why cast identical blonde haired girls and brunette boys for every Christmas movie? But yeah, the plot was meh, but the thing that irritates me the most was the lack of representation.
