FeistyUpper If you don't like this, we can't be friends.
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Glucedee It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
TheLittleSongbird I remember seeing this show when it first started and really liking it. Re-visiting it, I was surprised at how addictive it was. Agreed, the dialogue can be trite and cheesy, and I do also agree that some of the stories are a little too melodramatic. But The Tribe is a very good show. The production values are striking, and I love the theme song. I liked the issues that the show dealt with and how they were incorporated into the stories. The direction is solid, and the acting is actually pretty good. When the stories aren't too melodramatic, they are very engrossing and interesting, some even ended on cliffhangers and made me want to watch the next episode immediately. The characters are engaging too and have some depth to them. All in all, addictive and very good or so I think. 8/10 Bethany Cox
joe_g_patton I catch this series on WAM when I'm channel surfing once in a while. It is dumb as hell, but I can't stop watching once I've turned it on. I went through the same thing with Degrassi Junior High when I was a teen-ager. Both series were low budget, with awful writing & acting. I think it is the unintentional comedy that hooks me. I don't know how the actors/actresses were able to perform & keep a straight face in some of the ridiculous outfits/makeup jobs that are seen on The Tribe. The dialog is what cracks me up more than anything. If I'm channel surfing on the couch & I come across The Tribe, I cannot resist! I give the unintentional comedy title to Degrassi though. Those Canadian Hippy children(Snake! Wheels! Pregnant Chick with Blue Mohawk!) manage to ruin their lives in every episode! :)
MKing55251 This is the best teen show around cause it is special and different from other teen drama. when you watch this show you will become dizzy by the crazy outfits, make up, and no adults. It is the best way to show teens drama, no high school, populars and geeks, no running to adults. When you watch it go online so u can find out more about The Tribes. My favorite characters is Amber, Java, Siva, Dee, Selene, Jay, Jack, and Bray. the teens on this show is your adults then you got your little ones. You will love the way the city advance with only teens who know what they are doing. Watch it Please you will love it. And please buy season 1 on DVD so you can know who is who and what happen th this and this person past.
floridianfirefly22 Hear that, everybody? Me, who absolutely despises anything with over-the-top acting and countless romantic triangles, LOVES THIS SHOW! The concept of this New Zealand show has often been done, but the creators manage to make it original. The characters are very interesting, and I love the names for every tribe (The Mallrats, The Technos, The Locos...) OK, so sometimes the actors get kind of carried away (*slight spoiler* Trudy's acting in the episode where Bray is kidnapped is an example) It's got all the makings of a soap opera. They kill off cool characters, everyone sleeps with everyone, and there's your obligitory evil psychos and geniuses. What can I say, it's addictive. BRRRRRRAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY! COME BACK TO ME!
