Candida It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
MegaCynic I really did not have high hopes for this show at all. I thought it was going to be another "The Buzz on Maggie" and I was right. The only thing this is trying to tell kids that if you don't like something,Call an imaginary company to take them away. What do they even do with the people they replace? Starve them of food and water and make them look at the writing of this terrible show? I wouldn't wish this show on my worst enemy. If any thing else they should just flat out say that they want kids to be judgmental of people at first sight. Not to mention that the kids are so poorly drawn...their heads are square and have freakin' square noses that are discolored. These are the things that make me think of the times when Disney actually looked at what was coming on their network.
atomius Now whilst my fellow Phineas and Ferb fans may hate to admit it, The Replacements is a perfectly fine cartoon. I mean just compare it with say 'Brandy and Mr Whiskers' or 'The Emperor's New School' and you'll see it's not such a bad Disney production, second only at present IMO to Phineas and Ferb which is as good as a 90s cartoon. The Replacements has an interesting art style and characters and plots etc... The jokes are very intelligent and witty and the humour is good. The plots are usually pretty unique... due to the unique nature of the show's premise, that two kids can replace an adult with another one by way of a mysterious organisation called FleemCo. A great cartoon... certainly very entertaining and with great characters...
Floated2 The Replacements is a really cheesy and stupid animation show from Disney. This has to be one of the worst Disney shows recently, this show is just beyond awful and its plot is really weak. Its about two kids, Todd and Riley Daring who replace adults with other adults that they find better. That's so stupid. Before i saw this show i thought it would be good but when i started watching it, it was just garbage. The voice acting sucks, Todd's voice sounds so nasty and disgusting, he also acts like such an idiot. Riley acts weird and always stupid around that guy she likes. The parents act so fake and retarded, The father, Dick daring is a joke and a complete idiot. The mom is always lost and is very annoying. This show is just stupid in every way, its not funny in the least bit, don't waste your time watching this garbage.
RayrayUK What can I say, this cartoon in on early in the morning and sends me straight back to sleep. To a young impressionable child, many cartoons are great down to their bright colours, hyperactivity and high pitch voices, yet unlike many other cartoons, this lacks the substance many present and past cartoons contain. This serise consist of very little storyline, from watching a couple of episodes, I have found that the basis of this story is... Two orphans (little is known of their past are adopted by a bizarre couple - A stunt man dad and secret agent mother. The children are now able to contact an agency in which they can 'replace' anybody in their lives who they are unhappy with (teacher, babysitter, neighbour) with somebody displaying the characteristics of their choise. This series could make for a great parody based show. Parody being the key word, as each episode is different, meaning that a great episode could well be the making of this show, yet so far, this entire cartoon is lackadaisical in structure, animation within background art, enthusiasm, character development and entertainment value. This series could do with many improvements, yet on the plus side, this still has the time to do so, being a Disney serise, it has the boost many other cartoons don't. Their are many great voice actors making this serise too, such as Nancy Cartwright (The Simpsons, Kim Possible, Rugrats) and Grey DeLisle (Avatar, Fairly Odd Parents, Billy and Mandy).
