MoPoshy Absolutely brilliant
Freaktana A Major Disappointment
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Roxie The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
dzejna86 One word : BRILLIANT! I watched this series about 10 years ago, and remembered it few weeks ago.. Absolutely fantastic plot, not too much action (which I like), good vs. bad, justice, love, lies and betrayal from nearest person, twisted friendship - even though she is chasing him, she loves him (one way or another) ..... And all of these dosed properly! Perfect!I love the relationship between Sydney an Jarod (I secretly hoped that Sydney is Jarod's father), that Sydney's fatherly protection and Jarod's thrust in Sydney even after all those years in The Centre... And , of course, Jarod and Miss Parker (now I'm secretly hoping that there is gonna be filmed another movie (or any kind of closure), and that they would be together)!!I hope that there would be a decent end of The Pretender. Soon, with same cast, because the actors are getting older... I keep my fingers crossed!
chriswilliamstv I have seen all kind of TV shows and movies. I can say the pretender is the best TV show out of all of them. They should get new episodes like a spin off show or at lest a 3rd movie. But i think both a new movie and a spin off show would be the best thing they could do.TNT did Premiere 2 pretender Movies how ever they did not wrap up the story lines and the movies were more like top episodes of the show then a big movie. So i hope if they make an other movie it would be biger like they did with the 1st x files movie and the new star trek one.Well i went on the internet and look up the pretender and i found a few sites. One of them i found waswww.gopetition.com.auIt is a petition site and i found one for (A third The Pretender movie, New episodes or a Pretender Mini Series). So i put my name on it. At this time it has a few Signatures on it.
kenderkat The Pretender is a show unlike any other! I was hooked the moment it first came on and unlike many of the shows that I discarded as I grew up, The Pretender never got boring. It was an intense, action-packed show full of mystery and suspense that kept you guessing. Even when you know the answers, you never get tired of watching the repeats. When TNT was running this, I saw the show twice a day and when the DVD came out, I watched it through and through. No matter what the twist, or lack of one, the characters held your attention if for no other reason than because they had a way of portraying the inner facets of the human psyche. My only regret was that the seasons stopped coming.
Stibbert The Pretender is simply the best show there is! M.T. Weiss, Andrea Parker, Patrick Bachau and all the others makes great actors and their characters is interesting and the plot is full of suspense, mysteries and even some romance and rather touching scenes. The show got it all without being a total mess. You got the stereotypes like Raines. The always evil one. On the other side you got Jarod, the constantly good one. The you got everyone like Miss Parker and Sydney in between, switching from side to side. This makes the show unpredictable and interesting. Some say it's boring because every episode is built up in much the same way every time (you know what I mean when you see it), but I say that gives the show a unique theme or design that makes sure you never get's disappointed, and I don't really notice it that much because you focus much more on the story and the characters then the technical stuff around the production.Bottom line is: You just got to see it for your self!
