Synopsis

The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency was a reality television series that debuted on Oxygen on June 6, 2006. The show completed four seasons, through which it followed the self-proclaimed world's first supermodel Janice Dickinson as she took on the role of a modeling agent to her own eponymous agency, also called The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, which opened for business in November 2005. The first season follows her opening of the agency, including the difficulty in finding models of Janice's vision, getting them proficient in front of the camera, obtaining financial backing and establishing a reputation for her agency. Subsequent seasons followed the development of the agency and a constantly changing cast of models. A number of the male models are openly gay, and a number of the agency's clients are gay-oriented businesses. This resulted in many of the episodes being gay-themed. Oxygen aired a one-hour holiday special to bridge a gap between the first and second seasons, entitled Christmas with the Dickinsons. In the UK, there was to be a British version of the show with supermodel Paula Hamilton as the agency head. Like the American version, the show was to be titled after the lead. It was to be shown on the cable channel Living, which is also the home of the Top Model franchise in UK. After much planning, the show was canceled due to a lack of interest in the American version.

Artivels Undescribable Perfection
GamerTab That was an excellent one.
Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
Plustown A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
MarieGabrielle But Janice Dickinson deserves credit, parlaying her former success as a top model in the 1970s and 1980's, into this show. She is giving the models tough love, because as she says, the industry is the coldest hardest roughest thing you will ever do: she is preparing them for what is to come. There are of course, some scenes over the top. i.e. when Janice is in Miami, graciously hooking up models with top agents in South Beach. She doesn't want them drinking, which makes professional sense, but maybe if she toned it down a bit she would garner an even wider audience. An intriguing show, worth watching for Janice. She is a strong personality, and a survivor. This is the only reality type show i would ever even think of recommending. Good entertainment. Go Janice!. 8/10.
Max Brand3 Season 4 is here and it looks like the models are now living under one roof and guess who is watching them? It's Janice Dickinson who'll be keeping an eye on all her models making sure none of them are making mistakes. This season the drama around her agency is really starting to set in & some of the ones that are from season 3 had been shown the door to make way for the new models to come in. Of course none of them are happy about it and that's just the beginning. Meanwhile two other models get thrown out of the house Dominique Sharpe & Brian Kehoe due to missing a shoot & bad behavior. The last three seasons of the show we seen various signs of drama of the series and this one may be the most dramatic of all and this goes to show you people that the modeling business isn't always glamorous as you thought. This industry can really turn ugly in a instant as long as you stay in the right path without making bad choices that could rear it's ugly head. Janice herself has been in the business and seen it all and felt it and she doesn't want her models to end up losing everything they got and having to start at the beginning. This show is going to be a roller coaster ride of emotions but in the end some of these models will come out being better of themselves.
