Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Since my younger years I loved so called Space Opera novels. This series is of the highest quality, both in the universe it paints, as the characters (which have depth for a change) and an intelligent plot. This is Asimov meats John le Carré. Apart from that, the acting is high standard and the scenery is amazing. It is beyond me, why Netflix stopped after season 2. Real Scifi lovers will devour this series and love it to bits.
When I just started watching this series I was wondering why they used 'slaves' (the people living out on the asteriod belts are being used) instead of robots or clones. Once I got past the flaws I really started enjoying all of good stuff, realistic flight and space battles to name a few.
I have watched the three seasons and feel very impressed with all of it. Season one was good but a little hard to follow with such new ideas not being established but already existing in the plot. Ideas such as OPA, belters, Martians and Earthlings conflicts. The Season 2 and 3 expanded and developed in the way all good seasons should. If you like sci fi you will love it and if you don't, you might just like it.
In my view, this is the best sci-fi series (at the end of the third season). Period. A bit slow in Season One, then just the very best in Seasons Two and Three. Great ideas, great acting, incredible visuals. Wow.
