Greenes Please don't spend money on this.
Console best movie i've ever seen.
Senteur As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
Fatma Suarez The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
mcooke-13934 But was terribly disappointed when I purchased the DVD. As the previous reviewer stated - it was cut to shreds. I would gladly have paid more for the entire version of each chapter to have the entire series. I have a purchased a few other series to catch up on missed episodes and see the entire series only to be further disappointed to find that they also have been cut to shreds. I don't see why they can't sell us the entire version once they have opened it up for purchase. You can purchase any series of a TV show now so I would think they could do it with the Spanish soap operas also. After all, they are making money selling peoples' favorites so they can enjoy them at their leisure. Come on, Televisa, Univision, give us what we want.... complete episodes, not paper dolls!
overload74 I can't understand how Televisa can release this on DVD as a "classic." The DVD's soundtrack has been dubbed over with new music. With the new music it is clearly regurgitated as a run-of-the-mill, everyday Mexican soap opera. It's not the same classic. You can still hear the old music over the new recording, which is quite distracting. The new track overpowers the dialog at some points. It is a hack-job, as it appears the show is re-edited and half of it is cut out. I can barely hear the old soundtrack over the new. Yet, as a die-hard fan somehow I'm able to enjoy the show.
