Synopsis

Almost 2,000 years ago, the final book of the Bible, Revelation, predicted that Christ would return but only after a period of chaos and torment inflicted on the world to test the faith of mankind. REVELATION: THE END OF DAYS is a gripping, dramatic interpretation of how the ancient prophecies of The Book of Revelation could unfold in our modern world. The two-night, four-hour event brings to life six fictional characters’ firsthand accounts of the “End of Days” events. REVELATION: THE END OF DAYS merges drama with re-purposed real news archive to thrust a group of fictional characters into an imagining of the Apocalypse. The program follows the dramatic stories of a TV reporter, a police officer, a doctor, a scientist and a college professor as they deal with chaos, war, earthquakes and a deadly pandemic.

Micitype Pretty Good
FirstWitch A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
JanersM Like many other movies and miniseries about this topic, this work is horrifically bad. It was poorly written, acted, and produced. It is almost laughable how awful this thing is. This is worse than some of the bad science fiction movies that I watch for kicks. It sticks to a convoluted interpretation of the Christian apocalypse that opportunists like Kirk Cameron, Jerry B. Jenkins, and Tim LaHaye have used to line their pockets for years, but the overused plot not even the worst aspect of this thing. The shaky camera style is reminiscent of The Blair Witch Project, which fits well with the other poorly executed parts of the miniseries. If you are prone to vertigo, migraines, seizures, or motion sickness, especially if these have been triggered in the past by past movies or television shows, you might want to avoid this for health reasons. If not, just avoid it for quality reasons. It's not entertaining enough to justify wasting so much time on it.
chughett57 I thought this movie was well done. I believe the idea behind viewing it through the camera eye was for reality, not as a movie one would go watch at a theater. Really wish there was more to it though. More in depth. Some scenes were too short, Making me want more, which is one of the reasons I watched it twice before showing it to others. Everyone I know who has watched it, really enjoyed it. My clients watched it through my Kindle. Being a hairstylist, I see at least four to six clients a day. At times it was a bit herky jerky, but still riveting for me. They want me to write ten lines to submit. Can't think of anything else to say. I would buy it.
agolddog Came across this night. One of those films which keeps you watching to see how much worse it can get.As an example, the part I saw was set in New Orleans; however, the film editors were too lazy to make sure the stock footage at least wasn't *obviously* wrong. Both a police/military force with Cyrillic lettering on their uniforms and the Staples Center made an appearance.Sigh. Fascinating in the same way a train wreck is. Which is kind of appropriate, I guess. On the plus side, the electricity never went off despite Armageddon, so they were able to keep their laptops/cameras fully charged.
quillinmom I had to laugh at the politically correct rapture. The writers, who know very little about Biblical prophecy and history, picked and chose verses they thought could fit and ,many times, rewrote them to fit their story. I realize this was fictional, the way they chopped it up they should have left any reference to the Bible out. Sure they had a couple of the characters, but this was absolutely horrible. The filming could have been done better by amateurs. Next time, read and study your source yourself, and don't rely on someone to tell you what it says. It was sloppy, and poorly done. I would be embarrassed to have my name associated with it. History channel, I know you are biased against the Bible, but this made a fool of your channel.
