Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

mycatslyone The movie was funny & so is this sitcom. There are some changes but you live with them because there's so many of the original cast members that it just doesn't matter. For instance, Toula is now called Nia, Ian is now called Thomas & is NOT John Corbett (because he had other obligations), Joey Fatone's goatee is gone so now he just looks like a pudgy little boy. And Nia & Thomas live across the street from Dancing Zorba's instead of right next door to her family.The DVD has all the episodes on it & it's fun to watch them all without commercial interruption. But you cannot skip around to the episode you want to see. You must sit through them all or just fast forward.Note to Louis Mandylor Lovers: The next-to-the-last episode is where Nick moves out of the house & gets his own apt. Although he kind of plays a bit ditzy at times in the sitcom, he didn't in the movie. This episode is a fun one to watch & showcases him quite well.

sparky-76 Nia Vardalos's efforts in tv land joins the ranks of the McLean Stevenson Show and the Starland Vocal Band Hour. I can't say I'm shocked. Wish this show had stuck around. I respect artists who push the envelope and think it could have gotten a lot worse.

Syl My Big Fat Greek Life could have worked if they allowed it too evolve on its own in time. Sadly canceled by CBS due to poor ratings! It was aired on Sunday nights and not the Monday nights during the comedy lineup. When will networks learn to give comedies a chance like in the past, I could name several shows like All in the Family, Married with Children, Cheers, just to name a few that did not have great ratings in the beginning but they become decent funny shows. Unlike dramas, comedies are a lot harder to gain a solid audience. I remember the good old days of CBS' Monday nights with shows like Kate & Allie, and Newhart. Maybe, syndication is where comedies can thrive without the network pressure. I remember watching sitcoms like Mama's Family and Charles in Charge in syndication after their network years.

msl-d My Big Fat Greek Life. More like My big fat greek WASTE OF TIME! I watched the pilot of this show and it was the cheeziest, stupidest, it's got a half a season to get better show. Mind you, I did not see the movie yet. A couple days ago, I did get the chance to view My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and I believed the show a little over-rated. Nia Vardalos did not perform well at all (not even her narration was good). I would not call this show good at all.
