I really tried to enjoy this series, but ended up with a headache every episode due to the constant jumping back and forth to about a dozen different times and locations spanning 40 years with different actors sometimes playing the same characters.One actress even played both the mother and daughter (I think) at one point.This directing style took all the joy out of what would have been a compelling series. By the end I wanted to grab the director by the throat and make him re edit the whole thing in sequence so that would make sense.

I think this is one of the most underrated show in the history of TV series. As for people who have not watched this TV series, This show is a must watch show. Unpredictability is one of the main characteristic. If anyone love surprises, this one does surprise a lot of people, so people watch it. This is one of the best TV series.I do not wish to spoil anything. If anyone has seen Bourne identity, Bourne supremacy and Bourne ultimatum, you will like this show. This show has full of action which would keep us entertain. Moreover, people find confusing at the beginning like most of the TV series but as you continue watching the idea gets more clear and clear. So don't stop watching.

The constant switching between past and present and subtitles makes this season hard to follow. When they switch to subtitles, I have to stop what I'm doing to read what they are saying. Which makes it very frustrating if I just want to listen to the story.Not surprise so many bad reviews. If next season follows the same format, I'll move on to watch something else. There are many other good shows out there. I'm sure there are others that feel the same.Director should take notice and make change, or accept losing some views.

First season, darn good. Watching Bean play all the various characters, and play them well. Interesting FBI anti terrorist stuff etc.Then for some reason, second season went to heck. No more playing "Legend" roles. He's wandering around Europe with greasy hair looking for his past, his family, something.The constant jumping back and forth in time over 2 or 3 decades is difficult to follow. No real "action" in any of the episodes. No cliff hangers. No nuthin'. It's like the writers went on strike and the camera operators said "Ok let's film something over here and splice it in".
