Beautiful, moving film.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Joe Forrester was the type of cop that's not often profiled on most TV crime shows. He was a beat cop who knew everyone up and down his route. He walked the streets and actually connected with people. Forrester was also an older cop, as well, and that informed how he reacted to situations on his job. Unfortunately, this different kind of cop show didn't last long on NBC. It could be considered a distant cousin of later shows such as "NYPD Blue" and "Hill Street Blues".
