Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
BeSummers Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.
Hayden Kane There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Jack It was among the best TV show at the time. It was very good at the time. If you like to fantasize about witchcraft and magic, I haven't found any other contemporary TV shows or movies as good as Charmed. It was legendary for this genre. If they make a remake of Charmed it would be exciting as the original was not in HD format.
ThreadKiller Jigo Charmed is like a self-serious friend in high school, think O'Bannion from Dazed & Confused. It expects you to laugh at all it's joke like they are reinventing comedy, when in reality it's just basic, repetitive, regressive, "Men do this, Women do this" situational comedy. It expects you to take any amount of drama, large or small, legitimately important to their universe and story or petty crap between friends, completely serious, no matter how ridiculous it all gets. And, above all, like that titular friend again, it expects you to care about them when the only character traits ever shown are egotism, aggressiveness, pettiness, and selfishness.Only the nostalgia of watching this when you were a child trying to watch something "grown up" to prove your what you though was your worth at the time. Or maybe bonding with a family member when they felt like soap operas were just too well-written for their taste.
Mattias Having bought the DVD box set, it took me four years to watch all the 178 episodes. The final verdict - this show should have stopped long before the 8th season. Starting off as monster-of-the-week type of show, the writers cleverly opted to expand the universe and include story arcs over one or more season. The most interesting was the introduction of Cole Turner, Phoebe's love interest who was also a powerful demon bent on destroying the sisters. After Cole Turner leaving the show in the fifth season, the fans had to make do with an endless string of demons attacking the sisters ad nauseam. Finally came the 8th season where it is obvious that budget cuts have made the producers go for the cheapest production possible with almost no on-location scenes, almost no scenes at the Piper's club P3 or the Bay Mirror that would require hiring extras and Leo being written out of the show for no sensible reason. So although the first three seasons are enjoyable, the rest is a mostly confusing mess and it jumped the shark when Piper had her first child in the fifth season. The principal cast was competent but extra credit should go to Billy Drago as the demon Barbas whose every appearance is worth watching.
samisspink Absolutely LOVE this show! The casting, acting and story lines are fantastic. The person who done the casting in this really should get a medal. I don't think I'd have been even nearly as in love with it if Shannen Doherty was in it until the end. She is a good actress, but she's not amazing. She has a coldness and selfishness about her acting. I can quite believe that she had issues with Alyssa Milano, Shannen seems very unconnected with her, despite Alyssa playing Phoebe fantastically! So many of the episodes were about Prue in the beginning too, which probably added to her "superstarrish" behaviour. The show works far better with Paige in it. I love the show far more with Rose McGowan in it too, she's a super actress and has that uniqueness that I love about people. She seems more connected with Holly and Alyssa, giving a more connected sisterly vibe for the show. Rose and Alyssa's comedy factors really rub off on each other well! I'm so glad that Shannen left and they got such a wonder actress to play a wonderful character. The way they did it was superb! Very clever! They'd even had Sam (Paige's birth father) appear in season 1, which I didn't realise. I thought he was added in when Paige was. I love that Paige is half-whitelighter. I just love the orbing power!I was hooked with Phoebe and Cole, they have great on-screen chemistry. Julian McMahon is quite handsome too and very enjoyable to watch! He really brings Cole to life, making him one of those half-bad guys we love. I was rather upset they didn't keep him in it longer, I'd have liked him to reappear later and for him and Phoebe to work. I'm glad they gave him a happy ending anyway, when he reappeared in season 7 to help Piper and want the best for Phoebe. Piper and Leo are my favourite on-screen couple ever. They work so well on screen and have a good bond. They are very believable as parents to little Wyatt. Was gutted the season they broke up but they worked Chris into the story really well, loved that season with Drew Fuller as Chris! It's a tough choice for a favourite sister but I'd have to say Piper. I much prefer her as the "oldest" sister, she cares and makes wise decisions. Her powers are my favourite too!Love Grams, she's a hoot! The fact they brought Grams, Chris and Wyatt back for the finale. This is one show where the story lines get better and better every season. 10/10 and more. One of the best shows on TV, with the best characters ever.
