FeistyUpper If you don't like this, we can't be friends.
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
Console best movie i've ever seen.
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
rolandwinters I greatly enjoyed this series, and miss it very much. I, too, would love to purchase the series on VHS or DVD. I would also write letters to the owners of the series to encourage them to market the series on DVD. It might develop a good following among people looking for wholesome adventure without the cheap sex and special effects which dominate network TV today.
ford_moose I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said by everyone else; this was a lovely series filmed in B.C. that everyone in the family could enjoy. My mother and I often watched this on the Family Channel.I enjoyed watching the characters develop and grow, which doesn't happen often enough on television. For any PTB's that are cruising, please either release it to video/DVD or syndicate it out again.
Lpigman I would love to be able to buy video copies of this series, and if any one out there knows were I can please advise.I think the Marshal was excellent and the other lead characters Clive and Marie were also very good. I felt I was right there in the town with them. I thought the writing was excellent and could not wait for it on the USA Channel, but I only saw the last couple of months episodes, due to only just getting cable in my area.I check the listing often to see if this series is brought back, hoping upon hope that it has been. No luck.I never knew the Canadian country was so beautiful.
illaka Take into consideration the era in which this series was filmed (almost two decades after the 'demise' of the western). It was a solid series, good characters, nice plots. The scripts were the like of Gunsmoke and Bonanza with bits of The Virginian, Laramie and Cimmaron Strip. No sex, nudity and very little vulgarity -- family friendly entertainment. I have managed to put together 4-5 tapes full of these episodes.
