It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
OMG. I read through the reviews and am totally perplexed as to how people say this is slow and boring. It is absolutely NOT boring. Less "action"? Yes, certainly. But, the depth of the story and relationships among the characters is among the best in television, rivaling that of Breaking Bad. Fantastic writing, atmosphere and characters. 10++ in my book.
This is an amazing spin off series from Breaking Bad. It's not as good as that show but then again very very few series ever will be, but it stands on its own and is a great series in its own right and funnier than that show if not quite as impressively dramatic and dark.
I'm now at season 3 and this is definitely one of my most favourite shows ever. When you've watched breaking bad (which most people have probably done) you are already invested in a lot of the characters. I don't think there have been any scenes where I was bored. I hope it stays this way in season 3 and 4 but i'm quite sure it will.
Been a fan of Odenkirk since Larry Sanders. He really came into his own on Breaking Bad. Super happy for him that he finally got a leading role. He does a great job. The whole cast is great.
